Tucci is Wonderful 5/11/2004

Love the Pearl, but don't want the parking or driving hassles? This surpasses the Pearl upscale restaurants. It is divinity, you will pay for top of the line food, wine and service, it is well worth it any night, or special occassion. Will return over and over and recommend! Pros: food, service , parking more

Fantastic lunch 10/13/2003

My husband and I invited another couple to meet us for lunch at Tucci's after visiting the Lake Oz farmers market in October. The ambience was cozy rustic elegance, the service was extremely attentive, and the food was outstanding. The prices were about right for this upscale little ristorante... we'll be back for dinner. Pros: warm ambience, great food, attentive service more

Good for Specials 8/1/2003

Tucci has a very good assortment of ""special"" type dishes which I enjoy from time to time. However, I prefer the authentic italian pasta dishes served at Ricardo's in Lake Grove. Pros: Good specialty dishes, Friendly staff, Good location Cons: Lacks pasta dishes, Tight seating more

Worth A Visit! 5/5/2003

A nice ""big city"" feel for cozy Lake O. Food very good-- the scallops are FABULOUS!--BBBBUUUTTT, need MUCH more variety on their menu, or more daily specials. They say they don't have many daily specials because the menu changes so often, I have not found this to be the case. I would love to see a few more options for ""regulars"". Defiantely worth a try-- great drink selection! Warm, festive atmosphere! Friendly service! Pros: Great atmosphere, Tasty scallops, Nice drink selection Cons: Limited menu more

New York comes to Lake Oswego 3/21/2003

And not the best of New York, mind you. The hostess and manager were clearly more impressed with their ""hot"" new spot than we were. Food was good, wines by the glass could use some help. Service was abysmal. Think: New York City Upper East Side with the same attitude, New York City prices, and Oregon service. You get the picture. Our money is better spent elsewhere. Pros: decor Cons: service, attitude more

First Time Was Great 2/28/2003

My wife and I just went out for dinner at Tucci, and really enjoyed it. I had the rib eye steak, she has the scallops, both were excellent, lots of flavor in both dishes. For dessert she had the chocolate polenta cake, and I had the three gelatos mix. Once again, excellent! We sat at one of the chefs tables in the back, and were mesmerized by the excitement in the back, and the laughter as well. If you like being in the kitchen, you love watching pascal and scott and others working. The food was great, it is an expensive place however, don't go expecting a cheap meal. But for the quality of food, the price was very reasonable. We'll definitely be going back. Pros: Great food, atmosphere Cons: Pricy but good food, busy, can't drop in more

Overpriced!! 2/26/2003

Went last week, my spouse had the steak which was absolutely wonderful!!! But I opted for the crab fettucini which was awful. Nowhere in the description does it say it has cayanne pepper and you would not expect a cream sauce with crab to be spicey. Wine is WAY overpriced. Glass of red is from $7-17.50!! Most in the double digits. I think because it's in LO, they feel they have to gouge you. Limited selection. Pros: Steak, Atmosphere Cons: Uninformed wait staff, Price, Selection more
