Devin and Emily get a 10 from me. Emily made my appt and let me know when Devin was coming. Devin is a very respectful young man. He gave options before starting with the prices. Showed me how dirty the fan was, and how clean it was after he cleaned it. Explained what he was doing. I will highly recommend Five Star to everyone whom I know that needs their type of service more

Service Cal 9/10/2016

James and Chris recently installed a new water heater. Professional and focused on doing the job correctly. Had to haul heater and one replaced up and down steps to basement with a sharp turn halfway - took time and did it without problems. We have been a customer of 5 Star for numerous years and have never been disappointed with the quality of both work and personnel. more

I had to have my heat pump worked on today 8/30/2016 and a man named David P was sent to do the repair. He was so professional, polite , knew what he was doing and gave me information on the plan for what your company has as returning and keeping my 2 heat pumps at its best on future check ups. If someone has a problem with their heat pumps, you bet I will tell them about how well this technician did. So glad that I called your company and got David P. Thanks again for one of the best technicians I have ever dealt with. I am so please, I could write on and on about his work. more

I received excellent service from your electrician Joshua R. He explained the problem with the smoke detector and its solution. He was very knowledgeable and explained it well so that I understood what was going on. It was fixed very well and quickly. Next time I have a problem, I hope that he will be available to help. more

A/C Service Call 8/7/2016

A/C unit broke down on Saturday night during heat of summer and called around to get a few estimates on Sunday morning.. Five Star was first to respond with what I felt was a reasonable trip fee. I was put in contact with dispatch (Stephen?) who kept me informed about the estimated time of arrival for our technician (Joshua R). Stephen contacted my at least three times prior to Joshua's arrival. Exceptional service. Joshua arrived and was extremely professional and courteous. Joshua quickly diagnosed our problem, provided an estimate for repairs and was here and gone within a hour or so. From our first call to the completed project it was a great experience.... especially since it was on a Sunday in the middle of summer. Highly recommend these folks. more

BEWARE 8/6/2016

BEWARE!!!! I rate this company zero stars but in order to review I had to choose at least one star. Do not use this company if you have any plumbing or air problems in your home. This company preys on the vulnerability of it's customers. We had a plumbing issue that involved the air system of the house and just for the plumbing part Five Star quoted us at over $11,000 which is three times more expensive then two other companies we received quotes from. I did not appreciate the high-pressure sales associate that tried to convince me I "needed" a whole new HVAC system. When my family was not able to live at home me due to the plumbing and air issues we were relying on individuals to get the job done in a timely manner as well as a cost effective solution. This company has done only harm to our house as we now have another air issue that involves what they "fixed"-- yet they won't come inspect without charging a service fee!!!!!! Might I add that the part they replaced on the HVAC unit costs around $39 yet they charged over $500 for the job. Very disappointed in this company and the poor customer service. more

First, thank you Christine for sending the very nice, hard working service man, Mark S. He showed up on time and took his time doing a great job on my A/C , so that I don't have to worry about problems down the road ( unless it is something new) Unfortuneately there is always something that needs extra attention, but sometimes, it has to be put on hold until it is affordable, but when that time comes, I hope Mark will come back and do the job.
