Pricing 6/18/2011

Good: Price was listed on Auto Trader, and they attempted to advise us that there were $4,000 in fees that weren’t included on the advertised price. We were advised, their website had a disclaimer, after educating them; they are required to place the disclaimer on EVERY advisement, and they were forced to sell the vehicle for the price listed. This process took three hours, as they attempted to negotiate us splitting costs with them, which we weren’t going to accept anything more than the price listed.. Bad: They listed a price and attempted to sell for more than listed price. Improvements: Prices on all advertised cars on all websites they use, to reflect the actual purchase price, not attempt to get you in and then communicate a price that differs 4K from what was read and printed.. Other: Word of mouth is the cheapest and best advertisement for ANY business. It is always easier and cheaper to retain your customers, rather than obtaining new ones. Treat every customer like you would want to be treated, and don't try and play games.. more

The day I went in to purchase my lease car, all of your employees were so helpful. One of your salesman asked if I needed anything, and he was just a salesman that saw that I was waiting to meet with the finance person, and he was making me coffee and making sure I was ok. I wish I knew his name, because he was so sweet. Everyone in that dealership was so attentive to me. I will definitely recommend your dealership to everyone I know. more

we received excellent service 8/6/2010

We received excellent service at Trophy Nissan. We were not even planning on buying a car, much less a new car, on the day that we went to Trophy. As a matter of fact, we did not even get to Trophy until 7:30 Saturday evening. Kevin Teeter, our sales person, Candice Yarbrough, the finance person, were both great. We stayed until 11:00 Saturday night getting all of the negotiating and paperwork completed. I'm sure that they were all tired (because I know that I was) but I could not tell that they were tired or felt that they rushed me through the process because it was so late. I felt that everyone was helpful, honest, respectful and kind. This was our first time to ever buy a Nissan, and I know that we will definitely be going back to Trophy the next time we need a new vehicle. Overall, we had a great experience and are very happy with our purchase. Please note that Mr. Teeter told us about our first service appointment, but we were unable to meet a service advisor as it was 11:15 at night and they had already gone home for the day. more

super service dept. 7/15/2010

I recently took my 2006 Nissan Titan to Trophy Nissan’s service department for some in warranty work. I have a little over 70,000 miles on my truck and this was the first time I have had to take it in for anything! I just want to say that my service advisor, Darren Poston, did an excellent job working with me and my timeline to get the service I needed. Also, Mel Gonzalez was a pleasure to speak with when applying Zaktek process. It is nice to have these two men to deal with. Also I felt all of my concerns were resolved, I was overall satisfied with my experience and will return to Trophy Nissan for future service needs and recommend my friends and family! more

Excelled in everything 7/6/2010

I would like thank Abel Hamdan for Driving to Austin Texas to drive my vehicle back to Dallas Texas. I explained how I was treat at the use sales lot and Abel went further than any salesman. He stuck around to make sure I took delivery of the vehicle. I have never heard of any salesman willing to drive 4 to 5 hours to satisfy a customer. #1 for service #1 for customer Service. Im a first time buyer so I have had a decline or two but it seems the minute I don’t qualify I’m out the door. Ryan over at this dealership negotiated with the banks and was capable of getting me financed why the others couldnt is beyond me but whatever they didnt deserve my business anyway. Trophy really helped out tremendously and I’ll be sure to send business their way. more

Good: Trophy Nissan's Service department always does a great job on my Z and on my daughers XTerra. Very happy and I trust them which is key to me!. Bad: Its far from my house, but Trophy Nissan's service department is the only place I've never been screwed over by, so I make the trip!. Improvements: None, they do a fantastic job. Now...if they offered drop off and pickup...lol. Other: If you are looking for a great place to have basic or advanced service done on your car, this is the place to have it done. One of the few garages or service departments in the Dallas area that has competent mechanics and what not.. more

I heard about Trophy Nissan through my son’s school. My son’s teacher Mrs. Buchanan bought a vehicle from trophy and said she was having a really hard time getting financed into a dependable car so I chose to go and check itout… trophy Nissan did it up! Luke was so much fun and she was right they do take care of you and treat you like a person. They even helped me drive my other car to my house without asking. I loved the attention they gave me and sold me a great nice car that I aint ashamed of. Got me a 2008 nissan altima now I feel like I can have a new start after having to drive an old car with no A/C for so long. I will make sure I send people your way. No Doubt! more

Our experience at Trophy Nissan was nothing short of wonderful. My wife and I went a couple of times because we couldn’t decide what vehicle to buy but every single time we come we are treated very well and acknowledged immediately. I had a very pleasant experience when I purchased my Altima from trophy Nissan. I was still undecided at whether I wanted a sedan or an SUV and Terry Welch was very patient and helpful. I didn't feel pressured at all like I have at many dealerships and when I was ready to buy I feel I got a fair deal. My new car got door dinged after only three days, I went in to talk to the service manager about getting it touched up and they fixed it for me on the spot at no cost. I was very happy with my entire experience at Trophy Nissan and would definitely recommend them. more

The sales associate I dealt with was on top of his game. Mr. Regan was very knowledgeable about every aspect of every car we looked at. He was very patient and helpful from showing the cars to doing the paperwork. I've had my truck for about 18 months now and my car for 6 months and he has called multiple times to make sure everything is satisfactory and to check on any service needs. With that said my last purchase was a 2009 Nissan Altima and its been a fantastic car with good gas mileage. If you’re looking to purchase new vehicles call J.W. Regan with Trophy Nissan of Mesquite. First Time FEMALE Buyer 12/27/2009

I purchased my first car Saturday, and I am so excited, and unhappy too. I graduated last week, and with my dad in tow and a wealth of information set off expecting to visit several Nissan dealerships in search of the best deal on a new ROGUE. Yes, I had done my research and fully expected to haggle about the price on my new Rogue. First stop was Trophy Nissan in Mesquite, We were meet on the parking lot and ushered inside. After explaining what I was looking for, the salesman, Tinker Stewart, pulled up a Rogue that exactly matched what i was looking for. He offered to take us on a test drive and the Rogue was everything that I had read about, and more. As a 1st grade teacher, I needed the extra room to move things from home to the school. The best part of the visit, other than taking my new car home, was that Tinker explained some additional options to me that I was not aware of, like the College Graduate Program. After hearing stories of how difficult it is to buy a new car, how dishonest sales people are. Guess what, I found the dealership and the sales person you should be talking to. Tinker was knowledgeable of the car and optional programs that were available to a car buyer. I love my new car, and Tinker has a customer for life. Catalina more

I hate to buy a new car! But.... 12/25/2009

Most of the time, when a woman goes to a car dealership, they have to deal with everyone gawking and then treating them like they can't buy a car. I had been dreading the replacement of my Mustang because of the way women are treated. I found a dealership and a sales person that is different. I was lucky that I went to Trophy. A sales man came and met me at my car. We went to his office and we spent 10 minutes talking about what I was driving and what I wanted. He brought me an Altima and showed me how everything worked. It was exactly what I wanted. Long story short, my sales person, Tinker Stewart, was very courteous, new everything about my car, treated me like I was a real person... I have never purchase a car and had this type of experience. more
