I HAVE KNOWN THE OWNERS OF TRIFECTA KENNELS FOR 25 YEARS AND BOTH GRACE AND LISA ARE THE MOST THOROUGH AND METICULOUS OPERATORS OF ANY BOARDING FACILITY IN PA. ANYBODY CAN WRITE ...

I boarded my GSD there and when I got them back they looked awful, they smelled terrible and had diarrhea. They had lost a significant amount of weight. I was shocked. The owne...

My dogs have gone to Trifecta for many years. It's the only place where my dogs can run and be safe too. Lisa and Grace have a big heart for dogs and providing a safe and comfortable place for dogs is their top priority. I trust their judgement since they have over 30 years in the pet industry and have trained over 100's of dogs mine included. Recently, Trifecta held a fundraiser to hep a family raise money for a service dog, and this is who they are. Always helping the community, especially when comes to dogs! more

There are always three versions to a story. the truth and the perspective of each of the parties involved.\r I remember this case vividly.\r The more accurate version of this customers tale is as follows: The line provided by customer was a safety hazard, or so we decided upon reviewing the photo above. I am Lisa kane, one of the owners of Trifecta. While scanning the photos of dogs in our care, I spotted this photo and was concerned about the potential for danger to the dog. An entanglement can be life threatening.\r I did instruct our team to change the line to one of ours and to only exercise this dog in the obedience yard. That yard is fenced. All 4 of our play yards are secured by 6 foot fencing and we have never ever had a dog escape. We do have 4 yards and this is probably where this worked up customer got the number 4..The obedience yard is only 50 feet by 70 feet. The smaller size makes ideal for a dog to run, but not gain sufficient speed to hurt themselves if they were to get caught up in the rope.\r This customer was furious when she saw the photos in the smaller yard. The big field is 5 acres, and is a beautiful spot. and that's where she wanted her dog.\r She did refuse to pay her bill. None of our explanations seemed to satisfy her. i did instruct the staff to hang onto the dog until the customers paid their bill. They( customers) then went to a bank, or home, or somewhere to get the money. They actually arrived on site with no payment..\r We did have an internal staff review to determine how we could end up with such a customer experience. We want great glowing reviews, not spiteful ones. The results of our review was that: :.We acted in the dogs best interest. We are the professionals, and we know the potential dangers in caring for dogs, that many owners miss. We would not change anything .\r Sometimes the customer just is not right.\r i felt compelled to write this response when i read the review, because it was inaccurate, and potentially damaging to our business. The fact is the internet does allow for folks to say whatever they want, myself included! Take a moment and review the photos posted on the trifecta kennels face book page. You decide what you think of our place based on what you see--they say a photo is worth a thousand words. And while you will see a small handful of dogs on long lines those lines do not allow for entanglement, or those dogs are also in the obedience yard...If you are a dog lover, you will love the photos, i promise. I heard good things about this place so I kept my dog here in April. Once again i just left my dog here over the weekend. My dog is a ""runner"" she will run away whenever she possibly gets the chance and has done so multiple times to me and was known to jump fences to get away when she was with her previous owner. She can never be let off the leash for a second outside. This was well explained to the Trifecta staff and they had it in Bold in their notes. I even left my runner cable with them to attach her too like I do everyday at home. The first two days we saw pictures on their facebook of her outside on a leash/runner cable. The last day we noticed she was not on a leash in the pictures!! We called and spoke to one of the staff members and was advised that the Owner of Trifecta had told her to take the leash off for the picture and that it is written in bold in her notes that my dog should NEVER be off her leash. When we got there we told the staff member that we feel like we shouldn't have pay for today as she wasn't properly taken care of. We were very calm the whole time as we know it was not the staff members fault whatsoever she was just following what her boss told her. Then the Owner Lisa came in and immediately started yelling at us saying that she is annoyed and never wants our business again and to never come back. She went on to argue that it was for my dogs ""safety"" which makes no sense considering every single day I see facebook pictures of dogs on leashes there. I had mentioned how I heard that a dog had already escaped from there and she goes on to say that not one but Four dogs had escaped there. I said exactly so my dog could have easily escaped as well and could have been hit by a car. But she says No thats not the point because they were all recovered, which is an argument a 12 year old would make. She threateningly ordered the staff member to keep our dog caged up until we paid the full amount so I paid the amount and will never be back. This was the most disturbing experience I've ever had at any place of business and cannot believe someone would dare attack a customer who has yet to even say a thing or raise their voice even the slightest bit. She could have easily calmly explained that we could have a refund for today and she will never do it again or just explain that she paid her employees to take care of my dog for the day so she doesn't see it fit for a refund and I would have been just fine with that. Instead she immediately attacks us and belittles us. This was extremely disgusting and disturbing and I hope nobody ever takes there dog to this distraught woman's place of business ever again. more
