Editorial review from Citysearch 11/12/2013

There are always three versions to a story. the truth and the perspective of each of the parties involved.\r I remember this case vividly.\r The more accurate version of this customers tale is as follows: The line provided by customer was a safety hazard, or so we decided upon reviewing the photo above. I am Lisa kane, one of the owners of Trifecta. While scanning the photos of dogs in our care, I spotted this photo and was concerned about the potential for danger to the dog. An entanglement can be life threatening.\r I did instruct our team to change the line to one of ours and to only exercise this dog in the obedience yard. That yard is fenced. All 4 of our play yards are secured by 6 foot fencing and we have never ever had a dog escape. We do have 4 yards and this is probably where this worked up customer got the number 4..The obedience yard is only 50 feet by 70 feet. The smaller size makes ideal for a dog to run, but not gain sufficient speed to hurt themselves if they were to get caught up in the rope.\r This customer was furious when she saw the photos in the smaller yard. The big field is 5 acres, and is a beautiful spot. and that's where she wanted her dog.\r She did refuse to pay her bill. None of our explanations seemed to satisfy her. i did instruct the staff to hang onto the dog until the customers paid their bill. They( customers) then went to a bank, or home, or somewhere to get the money. They actually arrived on site with no payment..\r We did have an internal staff review to determine how we could end up with such a customer experience. We want great glowing reviews, not spiteful ones. The results of our review was that: :.We acted in the dogs best interest. We are the professionals, and we know the potential dangers in caring for dogs, that many owners miss. We would not change anything .\r Sometimes the customer just is not right.\r i felt compelled to write this response when i read the review, because it was inaccurate, and potentially damaging to our business. The fact is the internet does allow for folks to say whatever they want, myself included! Take a moment and review the photos posted on the trifecta kennels face book page. You decide what you think of our place based on what you see--they say a photo is worth a thousand words. And while you will see a small handful of dogs on long lines those lines do not allow for entanglement, or those dogs are also in the obedience yard...If you are a dog lover, you will love the photos, i promise.
