I can't say enough about this company. Our trash is overflowing and I think a family of Racoons have made a home in the overflow. Metro gave the dumpster it's own area code due to it's massive size. I call and call and the phone number is either busy or it transfers to another number tha says it's disconnected. I think they have gotten their business plan wrong. They forgot to include the part where they actually perform the service of dumping the dumpster and removing the trash from the premises of individuals, wether private or commercial. I'm also scared to go near the dumpster in fear of catching an STD. (does that sound strange?) Can anyone say, ""class action lawsuit?"" This company is excellent at excepting payments every month, for services that are un-rendered. That's about all I can say. It's actually a great way to make money. It's kinda like the IRS. Well, not really, the IRS at least has the decency to inform you via letter that you are being screwed. Why are we even paying anymore? more

I, unfontunately, have a dumpster with Tri-Star that requires weekly service. As of today, April 14, 2011, my dumpster has been emptied 4 times this year. What the hell??? 4 pick-ups in 15 weeks. Yet, I still receive a bill. Maybe the billing department needs to get in those trucks, they seem to be the only department that is working. I tried calling them the entire month of February on two phone numbers and it either just rang or I would get a busy signal. Trying to get rid of these bozo's has become another problem. See, I signed a contract with them and now they are trying to hold me hostage. They won't break the contract, keep billing me and NOT pick up my dumpster. How do these LOW LIFES get away with this crap. Thieves, Criminals, and all around Scumbags. Just read all the other reviews. You're right Aaron ""RIP OFF COMPANY""!!!! more

I really think this company should it beign sued a long time ago!, because a company like this one, should NOT be in business at all, every number that you call, no one answers at all, we sent their dumpster back over a year ago, and they still charging us for a service they quit providing 3 months before we sent their dumpster back, we try to call and no one answer, they are sending the letter from ""Watts Trucking Service"" of 525 17th st, Rock Island IL 61201, its kind of fishy, why won't they send the letter from their company in Nashville?? more

This is an update to my previous post. The company left the 30 yard open top container on my property for 6 MONTHS !!! Tri-Star refused to remove it unless I signed a waiver saying that they were not liable for any damage to my property when removing the container. I told Tri-Star they were crazy and I proceeded to contact my lawyer. I sent Tri-Star a certified letter saying they had 10 business days to remove the container or else the container would be considered abandoned. They did not respond, the container was hauled away by a third party. I win, they lose !!!!! Extremely poor customer service !!!! Driver dropped off open top and did damage to my property, service manager didn't give a damn. (I will deal with Tri-Star in court) WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Cons: Very Poor Service more

This is the worst company I have ever delt with. Been trying to get a 30 yard dumpster picked up for 3 weeks. I call them every day and get the same BS as the day before. It will be picked up by 2pm. They have no idea where their dumpsters are even at ! They said they didnt even know I had one of their dumpsters, but I seem to always get a bill for it though. Oh yes, another thing. They ALWAYS say they didnt get payment and want to see a copy of the check that THEY cashed. I dont see how a company that is operated like this one can stay in bussiness for very long. I agree with the former rating. This is the worst company to use for your business. We have gone with a reputable company and are paying more per month to just get rid of Tri-Star. Take your chances, but you will regret it. more

I went on a date with the head mechanic during business hours (that should tell you something!) and had the joy of my gyno telling me I had herpes.When I asked the head mechanic he admitted he had them in the past but thought he was outbreak free. After I told him the problem he made sure that my trash pickup was late or early just to get back at me.This is very unprofessional and disgusting.Now I am stuck with a permanent reminder of my fatal date with a Sanford and Sons wannabe. This place has the worst trash pick up services that are out there. Like others on this rating pge, our company as well has had a bad experience with them. We have gone weeks without pick service. I too called and the customer service was horrible. The excuses I heard. Trucks were broke down and they couldn't get to our route, drivers didn't come into work, and just lame excuses like that. I guess if the mechanic that is in charge there wasn't worried about how much he could drink and who he was gonna lay the next night then there wouldn't be any trucks broken down! From my understanding there is a whole lot of funny business going on at that company between employees. I do not recommend using this company at all. Pros: The head mechanic likes to flirt with you if you are a woman! Cons: The girls in the office have all slept with him! more

If you want it delivered 2 days late and then pick up 2 days ealier, this is the company for you. The office manager will try very hard to help you, but the owner of the company refuses to speak to customer with compliants. I will never use this company again. more

Tri-Star went without picking up our trash four weeks in a row, twice. Even after a certified letter was sent saying we needed our trash picked up and the bin removed, it was still three weeks before anything was done. And once someone did finally come to empty the bin they refuse to take it away for us to find a better waste management company. Do no use Tri Star Waste. Pros: The trash is in the parking lot as opposed to in the building. Cons: Breach of contract, bad customer service, rude. more
