@ Deanna O, if that photo is of the cut you got @ ""trendsetters' in fayetteville, N.C...than I can't get there soon enough!! I want that style sooo bad, just knowing not everyone can do that cut and style 'stacked bob"" style is the problem. i have been looking for the perfect cut, from the perfect stylist..A ""Bob..stacked, with lots of volume in the back.I have been growing out my bangs for a long time now, just so i could have that type of cut, with no bangs!Thanks for sharing your info with us, i am greatly appreciative of it. more

After a really horrible haircut at another salon, my son looked like he had cut his own hair. Fortunately Lindsay Tew at Trendsetters was able to not only fix it but me my teen son happy. Not an easy feat. So I chanced my hair color with Lindsay, and have been totally thrilled. Twice now she has colored and hi lighted my hair, and done a wonderful cute. I'll be back, and so will my teen! Thanks Lindsay!!! more

I recently was on vacation in Fayettville NC and needed my hair done so I went to the local Trendsetters Hiar Salon and had fabulous service. All of the staff was very friendly! I had Rachele do my hair and have never been so happy! I do not live down in Fayettville but everytime I need to get my hair done I sure wish I did so that I could have Rachele work her magic, and be around the friendly staff. If you are looking for a wonderful hair salon to go to Trendsetters is the place! more

I am upset that in this economy anybody would refuse business. A few months ago at a family wedding my wife spoke with Rachele Prevatt about visiting your salon before the holidays. She was not sure if she would be at your location because she was moving to a position at Gel in Cary, but that she would be happy to help. Well, my wife contacted her via Facebook and was told by Ms. Prevatt that she was only being polite because it was a wedding, and actually had the audacity to wish her luck in finding a good stylist. She was a friend with my cousin who lived with us two years ago and that living arrangement unfortunately did not work out. My family has got over it but Ms. Prevatt still holds a grudge for whatever reason and that’s fine, but she could have been polite at the wedding and declined, being up front and not stinging potential customers along, and still could have referred someone else that works at your salon. Perhaps she didn’t because she was looking for work elsewhere or that your own employee does not have confidence in the other girls that work there. There are many other ways she could have handled this. You may have the best salon in the country but with spokespeople like her, we will never know. Who knows how many other customers she has thrown away. And with the way word travels this is not good advertising for your salon. My wife and I will take our business elsewhere and advise others to do the same. more

Went to Trendsetters Hair Salon due to my stylist Renee moving there. When I walked in the place was stylishly decorated and very impressed with the atmosphere. My hairdresser Renee can do it all! Trust me I have looked for many years to find that perfect style and she was able to do it for me! She rocks and would not even think about going to anyone else for haircut, color, and eyebrow waxing! more

I just moved to the area and needed a hair stylist. I went online and read nice reviews about Rachelle....she is phenomenal! I am extremely picky about my stylist and have driven over an hour to get to one that I like. She spent 3 1/2 hours on me (to fix someone else's mistake). She listened to what I wanted/needed and gave me great suggestions when I wasn't sure what to do. 2 weeks later I am still saying, I love my hair! I haven't said that in a long time! I will be PCSing in 2 years and will cry when I have to say goodbye :-) more

Trendsetters 1/27/2012

As I am new to Fayetteville, I was hoping to find a great hair salon on my first try. I was pleasantly surprised to find not only a great salon, but a fantastic hair dresser! Rachael took the time to discuss my hair -- both what I liked and didn't and worked with me to create the BEST hair style I've ever had. Plus, she had a delightful disposition -- which made the whole experience wonderful. I will definitely be telling everyone I meet to go to Trendsetters! more

Ashley Million knows what she's doing! 1/19/2012

Ashley at Trendsetters sort of had a challenge on her hands when I walked in the other day. My normal stylist was booked, so I ended up trying some other person...epic fail. This was terrible considering I had a class to teach that night in Fayetteville. I ran into the salon with no prior experience with Trendsetters....I was taking a gamble to get a great cut in a hurry. I was assigned to Ashley. I told her my woes and hair drama and like a true professional she did magic to my hair and I walked out feeling fresh and perfectly coiffed. Thanks so much Ashley! more

So happy! I found her! 1/19/2012

I have had an amazing stylist at Trendsetters named Erin for almost a year! She listened and took her time with me EVERY TIME! My color and cuts were always right on point! I went in for my appointment with her 2 weeks ago to find she was not there! Nobody would even tell me where she worked, which was odd. I saw the Fayetteville Observer last weekend and THERE she was! She was in the business section and she moved to Salon 360 and I go see her this weekend! So Happy! more

Great Place! 1/16/2012

When I first got stationed at Fort Bragg I was obviously looking for a nice place to get great color and cuts. I tried a few places before going to Trendsetters after a recommendation from a friend. The first two times I went to Trendsetters I had a great experience, but didn't feel that I had found a stylist that I would want to come back to, or who REALLY understood what I wanted or what my hair needed to stay healthy.\r \r That all changed when I came back the third time. I have been trying to grow my hair out and had it dark for a long time. I came there wanting some lighter highlights and a trim. Rachele was the stylist who helped me and I have to say-she is GREAT! I felt very welcomed by her and when I told her what I wanted she gave me some great advice-I need to go a little shorter in order for my hair to be healthier and, as a result, prettier! :)\r \r She was awesome! She helped me pick a lighter color to put in my hair which obviously turned out great. She did the cut and some face framing layers which I love! I also must say that she was very friendly and I really had great conversation with her and felt that she genuinely loves her job! I highly recommend her services and will definitely being going back to her from now on!\r \r Oh and I have already gotten TONS of compliments on my new style and color...thanks Rachele! :) more

Awesome Stylist ""Rena"" 1/11/2012

After reading SSolomon12's review, I had to write a review ... First the best stylist is Rena...she has been doing my cut and color for 20+ years and I have never been anything else other than thrilled...she is a very talented professional who is very attentive to her clients...she does have a tendency to get quiet at moments while she is working but it is only because she is so absorbed in what she is doing...she is a very sweet and amazing stylist..I have never been disappointed with any of her suggestions...my 5 year old is extremely shy and she refuses to let anyone but Rena touch her hair and that in my opinion says a lot!!! The salon itself is beautifully decorated with a very relaxing feel to it. The owner is always nice and friendly with a welcoming smile. As far as any of the other staff being rude...that is just ridiculous...they are very friendly....especially the little girl next to Renas station... Maybe ssolomon12 needs to go back to Fantastic Sams or a cosmotology school where she can get a basic boring cut for dirt cheap.....but if you want stylish hair at a great price then you need to go to Trendsetters!!! more

I came in last week for a cut & color. My stylist was Rachel, she was so nice & really listened to what I WANT. Deff recommend coming here. i was shocked to see some bad reviews. I've gotten many compliments on my hair since, happily returning :) more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE 1/6/2012

Trendsetters in Fayetteville is awful. I was looking for a comfortable, modest salon and ended up with a horrible haircut. It was a miserable experience. I am sick of hearing ""Its not THAT bad"" when people are trying to comfort me about my botched hair cut. The people I dealt with were unbelievably obnoxious. One woman actually raised her voice because I didn't want highlights. The woman who ruined, or styled, my hair was rude throughout the process. You really should avoid this place. It will be a nightmare. more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE 10/18/2011

After reading some of the reviews, I decided to give this place a chance. Wrong, wrong, wrong decision! I asked for a very simple inverted bob and the stylist gave me an asymetrical, completely chopped off on one side more than the other hair cut. It looks awful. It was such a bad experience. She didn't even admit to having messed up my hair. The length on one side was 1 inch larger than the other. This stylist told me she has 10 years of exerience, but in my opinion and judging from her performance, she seems more like a recent graduate from cosmetology school. She had no finesse when dealing with an unstisfied client. I will never go back to this place. I do not recommend it either. Please spend a little bit more money and go somewhere else. I couldn have gotten this cut for $10 at a chain salon like Fantastic Sams. HORRIBLE EXPERIEMCE. more
