How REALLY extraordinary - GREAT!! 4/14/2009

I have fixed an appointment while I was still in Switzerland and two weeks later I entered the Salon - which really surprised me by being a tanning studio, waxing salon and boutique all in one. Small but homy, clean with friendly staff and extraordinary service. I felt save and well taken care of and it didn't need too much time to get everything done what I felt like getting done at this moment. Apparently when I fixed the appointment they calculated enough time for me - so besides getting an extraordinary Brazilian Wax I also got a half leg wax and an eyebrow wax - and I felt like blooming when I left. I really enjoyed being there - and I promise - in September I can be found at Treats for the Face again!! See you!! Pros: Great Service - friendly staff - feeling comfortable Cons: Waxing wasn't completely painless... felt something though. more

OMG! Painless Waxing 4/14/2009

OMG! This is the best kept secret in the valley. For all those who are afraid of bikini waxing, you need not fret! This was by far the best experience ever. Their wax is homemade and there is completely sanitary. You might get a little bit of shopping down while you are at it. Pros: Painless bikini waxing Cons: some trouble with street parking more

Facials, Tanning and Waxing, all in one place! 4/14/2009

I stopped by without an appointment, just to see what all the fuss was about. As soon as I walked in, I knew I was in trouble! The crystal chandaliers, the pink walls, and aisles of sassy clothes (nothing more then $100!)... Veronica was in between appointments, but when I asked if she could squeeze me in, she did! In and out in ten minutes, a full bikini wax & brow wax, with a free lip wax! When I was done I hung out shopping a bit, found some excellent dresses on a $25 sale, then went back home to relax (and post this review!!). Definitely will go back again and see the spunkiest wax master in town- Veronica! Pros: one stop shop, with dresses & shoes Cons: spent more money then i meant to more

Just went to go get a brazilian wax here this morning (9 a.m. appointments, perfect for my work schedule!), and met with Veronica. She is the owner of the shop and does all of the waxing, facials, and tanning. She is full of energy, and totally all-business when it comes time to wax, I tell you what! She had me in and out of the room in five minutes, and I was at ease the entire time. She suggested some products that will help with my ingrown hairs, too, and I was out the door within 10 minutes. You can't beat that, and you definitely need to try out this wax that she uses- the least painful wax I've ever had, and it's not just a rumor! Pros: truly, honestly painless waxing Cons: I didn't have enough time to talk to Veronica about her shoe more

I made a last minute decision to treat myself to a facial today, and found out about Treats' deal for $65 facials. I am so excited after leaving, that I came right home to post. Really, I loved it- Veronica did my facial for me, and made sure she knew my skin type before starting. I have patchy dry skin, and an oily forehead, and she was able to treat me for both of these things. When I walked out of the room, an hour later, my skin felt fresh and vibrant for the first time since I was a teenager! I asked if she would also be able to wax my eyebrows, and she went ahead and did it right on the spot! Veronica used both wax and tweezing to get my eyebrow arch how I wanted it, and yet still leave it natural looking- not quite bushy, but not pencil thin either. I am thrilled to have found a place near my home that provides all the services I need in one spot, and I'm pretty sure that I will go back soon to get my bikini waxed and to try out their hairstylist, Debby- why not? The prices are extremely fair, too! Pros: i got a full facial and wax for under $100 Cons: i had to go back to work! more

my new waxing stop! 3/29/2009

Just moved to the area and heard of two places I could go to for my waxing needs- either Pink Cheeks or Treats for the Face. After seeing pictures of unhappy Pink Cheeks clients and the pain they were in, I decided to try Treats for the Face. I stopped by one night after work, got a walk-in appointment without waiting, and I don't think I've ever had a wax that went so fast but also was so relaxing- I felt the removal, but it didn't take my breath away like other places! I went ahead and got my legs waxed too, and that wax is also much less painful then at other places (i think they said it's a carrot-based wax). On my way out I saw Vanessa Hudgens come in for a brow wax, which would have pleased my kids for sure (but made me feel like even celebrities trust this place, so it made me feel pretty cool too!). Pros: pain-free waxing, walk-in appointment, celebrities! Cons: the wax smells good enough to eat more
