VERY comfortable experience 6/2/2009

The shop doesn't open until 9 am, but I got there 10 min early and they let me come in anyway. I was extremely comfortable and relaxed given the circumstances (first time wax). i will definitelyyy go back the next time i need to get something done. oh and the job was done phenomenally. Pros: staff is friendly! more

They are the Bombdiggitty!!! 5/31/2009

I had received the worst waxing from a very popular wax salon on ventura blvd. and when i examined my bikini i realized i had hairs everywhere... i was furuious and i went to Treats for the Face and told them my dillemma. the ladies up front were very apologetic but they explained to me that they were booked up for the night but they said come back at 6:30p and wait for the owner to finish her client and they are sure she would fit me in for a bikini fixin. I did what they told me to do.. i came back at 6:30 and low and behold she took me.. no atitude no nothing. everyone here was delightful and my bikini was made as smooth as a baby's bottom. This place has booted all other wax experiences out of the box. I look forward to getting facials here as well. Simply said, my experience was amazing... Pros: Staff Staff Staff... these people by far were the nicest Cons: they are not open 24hrs a day more

Swallowed my ego and made an appointment for waxing before i had to go to the office, and it was nice and relaxing. Discreet. The wax wasn't too bad- less painful then i expected by far, and i'm told eventually the hair growth will be less, so the price will go down too. The waxer is a guy's girl, very hip and made me feel comfortable about taking my shirt off. Pros: didn't feel uncomfortable Cons: no men's clthing more

Great natural looking tan 5/19/2009

The airbrush tan is not sticky or smelly, you can actually shower before and then go out without feeling gross. Love the color looks like the real thing! Pros: looks like I sunbathed Cons: Compulsive! more

great local waxing 5/19/2009

I called Treats For The Face late one day to get in a last minute leg wax for my trip to NY. They were booked but when I said oh that's too bad, I'm leaving town so can't come next week, the owner said come at 9:30 and she herself came to let me in and do the wax. The place is also a boutique for vintage kind of clothes but it was clean, comfortable and a very good wax without Beverly Hill prices. No more driving over the hill for me! Pros: local (Studio City), small, owner is incredibly nice Cons: not a professional spa environment but that's ok more

I came in with my entire bridal party to get our customized airbrush makeup done by Veronica. The price is almost $200 less than in Beverly Hills, which was reason #1 I chose this place. Second, because if the owner of the establishment is doing your makeup, you KNOW you are going to be guaranteed to have great results because they care the most! The airbrush makeup we all had done was for the lips, face and eyes, a soft "beach romantic" kind of look. While we all took turns, Veronica gave us full access to her hair products so we could finish getting ready. Within 2 hours, 6 of us were done and ready to go. Not only were we outside all day, but the makeup didn't run or smear, so our pictures should be amazing! Pros: airbrush makeup lasts all day! Cons: i didn't have enough time to shop in their boutique! more

my roommate swears by this place for waxing that doesn't ruin your skin or cause you to scream in pain. i figured i had a $5 off coupon so why not give them a try. definitely will go back- the pain is significantly less then places that use wax with muslin strips to remove hair. the prices are comparable, and if you use their coupons, even less expensive! Pros: great deal on waxing that doesn't hurt Cons: too many deals on clothes more
