Loooong Wait 12/21/2011

The wait time is not for the amount of time I spent in the waiting room. That was okay. However, after my xrays, I waited 30mins for someone to tell me what to do next. No one came in to inform me of anything, until the xray lady came back and asked me if anything had been explained. Nothing was ever explained. She left, and about 10 mins later, my hygenist came in a moved me to another room to start the cleaning. Other than that - everything was fine. And actually, they waved a few fees - which helped as Christmas is just around the corner. Give a little...take a little. I guess I'd just like to see them value the client a little more through more efficient communication. more

Office staff/Dr not together 10/23/2011

My first visit was a disaster. Waited for 45 or more minutes before going back to the exam room had rays saw about 4 differnt people and not one of them was the Dentist Dr, finally a hygenist came and got me from that room then told me it would be $200.00 to clean my teeth!!! I told her that was wrong and I was not going to pay that. Then sat there for a while longer....short end of the story I was there about 3 hours and walked out. more

Great Office Team 8/8/2011

I am happy with Towncare Dental. Denisse the hygenist is awesome and really cares about my needs as a patient. The office staff and everyone else is very welcoming. They are willing to help with various plans in order to make sure whats needed is affordable. I don't have insurance and pay out of pocket and I refuse to go anywhere else. They have great customer service and I feel a part of the team there. more

Highly Recommend 7/21/2011

My experience and my childrens experience has been one of the best by far the staff are incredibly pleasent and attentive to my children as well as informing me of any problems Dr. Tabares is a great asset to the company and i wish him many years of success. I would highly recommend this office on Fairbanks Ave in Orlando, I was very satisfied and i am sure that u and ur children will be as well very children orientated. more

Rude Staff 7/21/2011

To say the staff is rude is an understatement. It began at the desk and continued with the hygenists and dentists as well. The wait time was ridiculous and after being put in a treatment room, there was another very long wait. I actually left without being treated. more

Denisse Lopez - Best Hygenist in Town! 7/12/2011

Denisse did amazing work on my teeth and was very thorough with my cleaning! As a recent former smoker, I was concerned about the stains on the back of my teeth. Not only are they gone, but my teeth are sparkling! For my partner to notice that my teeth looked cleaner and whiter is a big deal, as he isn't the most perceptive when it comes to cosmetic details. Her expertise has made me feed great about my smile again. Mix all this goodness with a hygenist who is caring, careful, and pleasant and you have just the right combination. I've had a lot of dental cleanings in my lifetime and I've been to many different hygenists, and Denisse is simply the best there is! more

My awsome dental experience 4/28/2011

This was the most comprehensive exam I have ever had. Also, the most comfortable I have ever felt in 'the chair'. Each and every staff member expressed concern for my comfort and questions. Every detail was covered as work was being done. What a wonderful experience. No pain, no fears. :) more

Question everything you are told 4/5/2011

I have had multiple challenges with Towncare Dental in the short time I have been a patient, ranging from very long waits to a dental assistant having someone else's file and charts instead of mine. I hate to think what might have happened if I had not noticed the name on the file was not mine prior to my procedure starting. Also I feel the cost of my repairs are very high compared to other collegues that have had similar procedures completed elsewhere using the same insurance. I feel I have to question all procedures and costs prior to them being completed just to insure they are correct. It will take some time before I trust Towncare Dental as having my best interest at heart. Right now I think it's just another money-hungry, greedy, corporate entity out to make the highest profit possible regardless of what is best for the patients. The only reason I stay at this point is because changing primary care providers with my insurance is such a pain. more

I think this is the best service dentist office I have seen,all though the schedule does not match up with your appt time-the wait is kinda long/and the first two visits should not be, Because people has to work and take time off to get to the dentis and on there first visit that want what they came there done not just looked at then say come back and what ever you need will be taken care of on your next appt.I don't agree with that at all that's two visits and two payments.I totally disagree more

Charged for services that I didn't request 11/5/2010

My dental hygienist is very serious about her job and work and I think does a good job. However, she adds services without telling me how much they are. I was surprised when I checked out to see I was charged $25 for something that I assumed was included with the cleaning (total cost was $210!). The woman checking out didn't greet me at all, she just looked at me until I said my name and then when I said I was not happy about being charged the $25, she just kind of shrugged. Didn't offer to do anything about it. more

Visit for fillings 11/2/2010

Seems that the staff were in a rush to complete their work for the day. I was supposed to have 2 teeth extracted but got fillings instead, which noone told me about. more
