I've been in Stoughton for 25+ years and fell in love w/Town Spa pizza when they were at the corner of Rose & Porters Streets. The pizza just hasn't been the same since they mov...

Like Frozen pizza 3/7/2003

If you like celeste frozen pizza go here. terrible. I don't know why people love this place. A coke is like $5. It's about the size of a shot glass. And no refills! more

Best Around 3/6/2003

I grew up in Canton and have been going to the Spa for over 20 years. It's bar pizza but it's the best bar pizza and the greek salads are great too. Service has taken a turn for the worse over the last few years but the pizza makes a trip worth it. Yes it does feel like a lot of other tacky little suburban places when you first walk in but who cares. Pros: The pizza, Greek Salads, Friday Clam Chowder Cons: Location, Basement space wasted more

Best Pie Around 3/6/2003

The Famouse Pizza is the best I have had in the 781,508 areas. Huge Projection image in the lounge to watch all those games on. Pros: Plenty of Parking, Inexpensive, Friendly Staff Cons: No CC Accepted more

best pizza south of Boston 2/16/2003

I grew up in Canton and quickly became addicted to Town Spa pizza. As these reviews show, there is a quite a dichotomy when it comes to their pizza, but I am in the ""love it"" camp. The thin crust is amazing, and you can get thick crust if you ask (not many people know about that). Their salads and french fries are tasty, but their sandwiches and burgers are mediocre. Stick with pizza. Pros: great pizza, pretty cheap Cons: rest of menu stinks, huge lines more

Greasy Pizza at its Worst 2/10/2003

Bad bar room pizza. Some people may like bar room pan pizza but greasy bar room pan pizza with a thin crust and not so good cheese is not so good. more

Awesome Pizza 2/10/2003

The restaurant is a great place to meet friends after work for some delious pizza. The salads are also great along with their french fries!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! more

Thinnnnnnnnn Slice 1/9/2003

I like Town Spa's pizza most of the time but it is so small and so extra thin that I have no trouble eating a whole pizza myself. I find it's an ok pizza but understand that anyone from the town of Stoughton lives for Town Spa pizza. Guess you had to grow up on it. more

Overrated... 1/2/2003

There is a better pizza joint 4 miles south that is worth the drive...pizza is just so-so... more

Not what it use to be. 12/24/2002

When Town Spa got an ego, they forgot how to make pizza. The previous owners catered to the customer. The current owners want to sell as much as they can as fast as they can. Pros: Price Cons: Below average food, Bad service, No attention to detai more

""The Spa"" 12/24/2002

Growing up in Canton, ""The Spa"" was the place to see and be seen. The waitstaff is friendly and you cannot beat the prices. Best place South of Boston for for pizza and beer. Pros: inexpensive, plenty of parking, quick Cons: crowded more

I've been living here for 7 years. If you're not from this place then you'll find the Town Spa horrible. The food stinks. more

This Pizza ROCKS 12/4/2002

I have been going to the Spa since I was a little kid and this Pizza is by far the best in the world. I think the secret is the use of mild cheddar cheese but I'm not sure. You have to ask for ""burnt edges"" and the pizza comes out with black on the edges. This is the only food on the planet that is black and tastes that good. Anyone who doesn't like this pizza is probably a fan of Papa Gino's pizza (NASTY) so the negative reviews should just be ignored! The chicken fingers with honey mustard sauce are awesome and their salads rock too. Especially if you get the zinfandel dressing. Pros: Pizza, Bruins Games, Nice people Cons: crowded, long wait, long ride more

Bring back the old Spa 12/4/2002

While in high school it was always a toss up between the Lynwood and the spa. Since they moved to the new location the atmosphere that made the pizza great seems to have given way to the old Tip Top Cafe style. Great place to take a family for pizza but I still fav.or the take out of lynwood Pros: nice seating area Cons: Los the old touch more

Town Spa is Tasty for SURE! 11/27/2002

I've been going to Town Spa Pizza since I was born. It is really just great pizza! It has a great cheese and sauce on it, and i like the very thin crust. It is a bar size pizza, so everyone can have their own which is a plus. I'd eat Town Spa Everyday ! Pros: Great Pizza, Great Location, Clean dining area Cons: '80s atmosphere, Smokey, Unclean Bathrooms more

best in eastern mass 11/20/2002

I spent my first 11 years in stoughton, and the next 8 bouncing around the boston area. I have had pizza from every place around, from faceless dives to high end pizzerias and town spa is still the best. I have been eating their pizza since they were located across from the train station and the pizza is still great. While living in roslindale, I would make the drive monthly just for the pizza. I have since moved back to stoughton and eat at the spa regularly. The second best, by the way is from a little dive in brookline called the pizza stop, best greek pizza around. not much for ambiance, but for those of us who buy pizza for, well, pizza, its worth the drive. more

mmmmm...honey mustard! 11/11/2002

Town Spa is the best restaurant ever! Just try dipping a ""crispy"" pizza into the honey mustard! It's heaven on earth. Actually, dipping anything into the honeymustard is amazing! more
