Torq

I am sorting out recent build issues and fine tuning on my 427 LSx swap into my 69 vette. I have been taking it to a well known vendor here on the forum from South Florida to go over the entire setup to make sure all is good but have not had the best of luck from issues with regards to tuning, new header gaskets that leak when I picked up the car, belt rubbing on the NW throttle body they installed, part throttle driveability terrible and engine stalling, etc. I have seen recently some of you guys post good results with Torq so I gave them a shot at it as my ride has been at the other shop 3 times with little success on a few areas. They had my ride for 2.5 days resulting in several outstanding questions answered, problems fixed, tune adjusted and what appears to be a solid game plan to get the remaining items addressed. They also noticed a few new items on my ride that I swear they were wrong and thought I was being taken advantage of but sure enough they were 100% correct much to my surprise. I had a good first experience with Torq. They called me on a regular basis giving updates on what they found, solution, where we were currently at with costs, how much for additional (next step) work, etc. Plus the guys delivered my car back to me as they live very close by which was a really nice bonus not having to resource a ride/taxi to get my vette. I will be having much more work done by them mid to late February. While there are a few LS shops here in South Florida for us to take our vettes too, I suggest give Torq serious consideration. I contacted a few members who posted about them on this forum and is how I found them through recommendations through this forum and glad I gave a different shop a try. Many of my headaches were solved in 2 days vs. 3 visits to the other shop. more

Torq is a great performance shop. All the work they have done on my car has been done right and I am happy with the work they have done. I feel comfortable leaving my car in their hands. I am very happy I have found these guys. It is such a pleasant idea to be able to rely on a company if you give'm "your baby". They replaced and upgraded my brakes on my 06 Mustang GT and did a service on it. It is clear to me they know what they are doing. A confirmation in regards to this came last weekend during their charity event and speed show. The quality of customers and cars loyal to Get Torq seems to be very high. Very impressive. Another thing, their workshop manager recognized me, after visiting their shop only one time. Exceptional these days! They show their passion for cars. I have placed a total of 2 orders with Torq which have been nothing but a pleasure. When I ordered a differential cover and it had been left at the FedEx depot because I was not home. Meister contacted me directly to let me know it was at the depot, he wanted to assure I recieved my order. I have spoke with Meister a few times through the s197forums (that is where I learned about Torq). I sent him a message asking about their tune capabilities and he called me the same day and talked to me for quite awhile about their capabilities and what would work best for me. Hello guys! I'm one happy customer tough I havent even seen my car in person(it's on is way from Rotterdam as we speak). Erik as been more than helpful and I cant press hard enough how thankful I am to have him helping me with every aspect of my car! Once I'm tired of this car I dont have to tell you wich company I will hire to do the work on the next car! Next summer, when my car hits the streets of Sweden I will be sure to tell the owners of the cars I smoke how has build my car, TORQ! Torq is by far one of Floridas most trusted shops for any of your car performance needs. With a highly reliable, well rounded and experienced staff, you can put your worries at ease that your car is in good hands. Having done business a few times with Torq, I'd say I'm am overall satisfied with the work that Torq has provided and will continue to be a repeating customer. With that said, like cars Torq can also use alittle fine tuning. Both Erik and Paul have been wonderful in helping me decide on what's best for my car. In addition they do take care of their repeating customers aswell. Though there's always room for improvement in any business I will say this. Working with people for the last 6 years at Publix as a customer service staff has taught me one thing. You always have to go BEYOND the extra mile to make people happy. It's NEVER a waste of time to ensure a customers satisfaction...Even if it means putting a car on a lift just to see if an 02 sensor wire might be damaged lol. This seat handle adjuster for the passenger seat is about half of the size of the OEM handle. It's awesome! It was put on in about 4 minutes. It came with it's own screw and tool to put on, so no digging around for tools. I had no problems from searching, to buying, to shipping, to receiving and through the quality of the handle.
