Dear Tony's Auto Service, You are exactly what we've been looking for these past two and half years in DC. I'm ashamed that the first time we called you, we were too impatient to wait the extra weekend for our vehicle to get fixed. Don't worry, we paid a huge price of shady service at another mechanics, and we definitely learned our lesson. We know better now. You're a rare diamond in the rough that fellow yelpers may want to keep to themselves. After these past few months of poor customer service and getting screwed by inexperienced mechanics, you're a breath of FRESH AIR. You've put that smile back on our faces, that I can't wait to tell the world of your great service! Everyone's reviews about you yet are nothing shy of true, except for the no-call-back guy. I'm sorry that guy didn't have a good experience, but I have faith in you. The moment I stepped in, I found comfort in the fact that at my short height, I look up and around and there wasn't an inch of wall that was not covered with a certificate, award, or recognition given. Both old and new, I'm thankful you hang everything up with pride. It leaves customers like myself with no reason to doubt your profession at all. I understand the legacy of Tony's Auto Service. Your extremely old and outdated decor shows that you're more focused on working on your cars. The old, well aged certificates, newspaper articles, awards all show me what experience you have. The new certificates, recognition, and awards show me your consistent progressive growth. We have nothing but high regards and respect for your business. I love, love, love that you are a family operated business, and that your nephew Andrew has taken such great care of my husband and I from the beginning. Andrew is VERY considerate, understanding, respectful, reliable, honest, and most of all, helpful. We walked into your store tense and irritated by getting tossed back and forth from crappy service, and you took the car into your hands and fixed it all. Each phone call you promised was delivered. Each question we asked, you answered with detail and precision. The fact that you charged us only an hour and half for labor when you finished sooner than the two hours you estimated proved your honesty. You charged us exactly what you told us, and pulled no quick ones on us. Andrew constantly preached to me, that ""usually, all mechanics want to do is make their customer happy. That's the most important thing,--that we fix your problem, and you are happy."" along with, ""a lot of mechanics forget that the real source of your paychecks are from your happy customers who keep coming back."" Something along those lines, but I'll never forget it. It all makes sense to me now. Since last week until now, I couldn't understand why Tony's seems too good to be true. I can't find a single thing I do not like about Tony's Auto Services. Why haven't they tried screwing us over yet?? I know why now. Its because you don't need to. Just like that newspaper article says, ""Tony's Station Too Successful."" It's because you don't NEED to screw anyone to make money. You've already earned the loyalty and respect from customers alike, that you don't need extra dirty money. You're THAT good, and you've got a hold of your ground and APPRECIATE loyal customers. We have received nothing but GREAT, PROFESSIONAL, QUALITY, HONEST work from you, Tony's Auto Service. I thank you for everything! You have won our hearts in loyalty and trust.
