I first went to Tony's in 2013 and they did an amazing job, fixing my car. Their prices were better than other places I talked to, and they didn't try to sell me on things I didn't need. I've since moved across town and earlier this year went to a dealership for repair work instead of Tony's. What a mistake! I was asked to buy parts that didn't even belong in my car, and frankly I didn't know better. I had a gut-feeling something was off so I brought my car back to Tony's and they told me what was really wrong (which saved me from wasting nearly $2k!) and had me out the door in a few hours.\r \r Rest assured I won't be taking my car anywhere else!\r \r Their team and the service is simply outstanding! more

We went to a Chev dealer that told us we needed all kinds of work done almost $2000 of work to fix our truck. We went in to Tony's and spoke with Mike! I explained everything to Mike and he told me let us take a look at the truck. They fixed the problem for $600. All of the other work that the dealer said needed to be done was not true!!! Dealers are a ripe off! Tony's stood behind there work when the part was defective and replaced it again with no problem! Mike was very helpful and great customer service. People please remember they are a good shop, so it may take a little longer, but at least they do a good job and stand behind there work! more

Needed the VA inspection on a car from 96 that I wasn't interested in sinking a lot of money in. The dealership came up with a laundry-list of things, at $2000+. Mind you, I had just had a lot of work done out of state before moving to VA, so I didn't buy it. Took it to Tony's as recommended by a friend.. I needed a new light bulb. Done. Definitely going to be my car place as long as I live in the area. more

Mike, Ed and the owner's son, Tony make up a part of an exceptional crew at Tony's. Very professional, will not sell you what you do not need and every repair is done right at far less expense than the dealer or most shops. You can trust these guys! Family owned and operated and they stay in business by offering great customer service. more

Not only did Tony s fix my Jeep in ONE DAY, but they also did it for $1100 less than what Ourisman wanted for the work! They were very professional, answered all of my questions, and were always courteous and easy to deal with. This is my new go-to garage for ALL of my vehicle needs! I would like to send a HUGE thanks Jerry and the guys at Tony s Auto Service for making this experience much much easier! more

This is just a wonderful garage. Honest and low cost. and they know what they are doing! I have been a fleet manager and for many years I went only to the dealers for our Acuras and Infiniti. When the length of the trip and the cost of the service was finally too high, we tried local garages were OK, but as expensive as the dealers and who really weren't very good. more

Can't beat the convenience to the Metro. If you need to rent a car while yours is down, Reagan National is one stop away and has car rental counters available. Tony's price and service were both quite reasonable and there was no attempt to skip on the diagnosis or to upsell work not needed. Another thing worth mentioning, although there is major residential construction nearby, the owner assured me that Tony's had no plans to sell or offers to buy out their business, so they will be around for the foreseeable future. more

Not only does Tony's have the best customer service (everyone is always so helpful and courteous, and Mike at the front desk walks me out to my car if I pick it up after sundown), but also it's convenient to drop off my car on my way to work, since the Braddock Road Metro stop is just 2 or 3 blocks away, and then pick it up on my way home. I get all my oil changes and safety/emissions inspections performed here! more

I'm the daughter of a 40 year certified mechanic. I have always watched and listened to what he could tell me with regard to cars. This place always does right by me. They are helpful and not pushy. I saved literally hundreds of dollars, my truck is running fine again and you can't really ask for more than that.\r \r This place looks like an old garage you'd find on a back road, run by a couple of good ol' boys, and that's basically what it is. These guys, however, know Toyotas as well as they do Chevys and they won't do you wrong. I'm going to keep coming back. more

My second trip to Tony's since moving to the DMV was for a brake job and power steering issues... these things happen when you drive a 10-year-old car... but I digress. \r I was once again impressed with the courtesy, speed and professionalism of everyone I interacted with, both in person at the shop and on the telephone. The price was fair and I got my car back the very next morning. One thing to note is that Tony's is a short walk from Braddock Rd. Metro, which for me is a huge plus. It means that I can drop my car off when they open at 7am and still make it to work before just about anyone else. \r People who have problems with the cost are probably misinformed on the normal price of parts and labor at a professional mechanic. Tony's isn't a Pep Boys or some other discount shop, so you may be able to save money going to some place else, but their prices are fair and the work is good. Well worth the peace of mind.\r In short: Tony's is super convenient, professional, friendly, reasonably priced and highly recommended. more

Dropped my truck off with about 15 minutes to spare before closing. They took the time to listen to my very detailed explanations of what was wrong with the truck (kinda like listening to the show). They suggested that they run a complete diagnostic since the truck had been in storage for a while. Ed called back the next day and went over every discrepancy they found and quoted a price. They actually had the truck done before they said they would and came in under their estimated price. more

I live in Winchester VA. I have a 2006 F350 Diesel. Ford at Winchester or Front Royal couldn't fix my truck after four weeks. I met Tony through business in July 2010. Tony repaired my truck in one day and had his road test guy drive it 125 mile to my business to test drive it with him. This is an old business with old values, something the modern business world lacks. I will always use this auto repair. Great people, great service. Thank you, Tony. more
