Tonya Jones Salon

Although I've received excellent service at Tonya Jones in the past, I will not return. On 08/21/12, I arrived on time for a 4:45 appointment. After waiting for 15 minutes, I was informed that my stylist was behind schedule and asked to return hours later or the following day. I'm a patient man. I would have had no problem waiting another half hour, but several hours is absurd. What could possibly necessitate such an egregious delay, and why wasn't it apparent before I arrived? more

I loved the Tonya Jones SalonSpa! I had a consultation with Tonya and she was so great and friendly! Felt very welcome! Would definitely recommend this salon.. Great experience! more

I was referred by a friend and have never been so disappointed! First, my stylist was not realistic with time frames. My girlfriend and I had appointments at 3:30p with the same stylist. We did not WALK out of there until 8:50p! Next, I specifically told the stylist that I wanted Highlights AND I even showed her the color (one of the other stylist had beautiful BLONDE highlights). She kept pushing me to go with all over color even though she knew I was unsure and have NEVER had that done before. She said "I'm going to make you a Blonde Bombshell". Well, she obviously does not understand chemistry because when I came out from under the dryer my hair was RED! I said "OMG my hair is RED", she said "No, you are just a Golden Blonde". She then proceeded to do partial highlights, which only made it worse. I have ugly, strawberry blonde hair with darker strawberry blonde streaks. Then, I go to pay and it is $200- So, Basically I just over paid a terrible stylist at an over-rated salon to RUIN my hair. I have been upset for days and my husband left his card and 3 messages for the owner, Tonya to call back and she has not. By the other reviews I read, I am guessing she doesn't really care. I wish I would have read all the reviews first. I now have to pay someone to fix what this salon did. more

I always have such a pleasant experience at Tonya's. Customer service well above average and Tonya and her staff are professional and experienced. The only thing I could say negative is there were children at the salon when I went and the noise level was very high. I do understand that some people have no one to care for their children so I try to be patient more

We love Neely! She is absolutely amazing and a wonderful asset to this Salon! We will continue booking with Neely and tell everyone we know about her! Thanks Neely! more

I spent a while longer than I had carved out for my Saturday, but the net result was good, & I will be back. more

Ashley made the transition of moving to a new stylist easier than I anticipated. My highlights, cut and style are exactly (actually better) than expected. Ashley is a very warm and welcoming individual and I've booked my next appointment already. Thanks Ashley. more

I had my make up done by Angela and my hair by Aaryn for engagement pictures I was taking that day. Both did a fabulous job - my hair and make up have never looked better. I am recommending both of them to all of my friends, and can't wait to get back to Tonya Jones Salon! more

This was my first time at Tonya Jones Salon. I was impressed by the atmosphere, it was clean and peaceful. Reasonable pricing. I've got very curly hair and Neely was great, she understands curls and gave me a great cut. more
