I go to school in Framingham, and unfortunately I must rely on Tommy's Taxi a lot, especially getting to and from work.

I cannot even comment on the cab service because I never got past the dispatcher who took my call. The woman was unhelpful and rude. I called simply to ask whether transportation could be arranged beforehand. She gave me conflicting answers and then denied saying what she had already said, maintaining a hostile tone the entire time. She made it clear that she could not care less about my concerns or my business. more

Great Service, no problems 6/12/2010

I use Tommy's Taxi a lot -- I have never had any problems with their service. The drivers are helpful and the cabs are generally clean. They have driven my young children and my 80 year old aunt without any problems, and show up on time. Pros: Reliable, open early and late Cons: overall, no cons -- might have to wait in very bad weather more

Great service! 2/5/2010

I use Tommy's pretty regularly and have always had good service. They come within a reasonable amount of time, and the cars are always clean. As a woman traveling frequently for business, I have used taxis all over the country, and Tommy's is as good or better than most! The last time I took them was from Logan Express late at night -- they came within about 15 minutes, and the driver was terrific (and I had a lot of luggage). HORRIBLE SERVICE !! 11/24/2009

I WAS TO BE PICKED UP FROM THE MALL. IN MY HEELS I WAS TOLD TO WALK AROUND THE MALL TO GET SERVICE . FROM THERE I WAS MADE TO WAIT A HALF AN HOUR FOR SERVICE. THE CAB DRIVER WAS DRIVING FAST, USED INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE AND SPOKE ABOUT THINGS THAT MADE ME FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE! NEVER AGAIN! Cons: UNPROFESSIONAL more

Use only as a last resort and at your own risk! 11/13/2009

I have lived in the area for 6 months and my only mode of transportation has been the bus and the taxi. Tommy's has a monopoly on Framingham so they are the only taxi option. I've spent over $1000 on their service for the past 6 months and put up with rude dispatchers and drivers that don't know the area well enough and take the long route home but this AM was the last straw. I asked for a cab at a certain time and was told 'that's not how it works - we tell you when we can pick you up'. That's funny, I always thought the customer told the taxi when they needed a ride; now I'm being told it's the other way around. Rip-off 2/23/2009

The meter showed $32 for a 10 mile trip. With tip, I ended up paying $50, due to phony surcharges:- $10 for an "out of town" surcharge, which the driver refused to itemize on the receipt- $2 fuel surchargeWhen I called for the cab, I asked whether a metered rate or a flat fee would apply for my ride. The answer that I got: meter.I was duped, clearly not by mistake, but because this is their method of doing business. Do yourself a favor, get a rental car for a day or two instead. This company is not worth your business. more

BIG ROBBERS 1/24/2009

Don't ever use their services. They are the worst and try to make a lot of money from you. They do their best to pool people and then charge people separately. Just there for money. Always late and the lady on the phone is extremely rude. Just keeps on yapping away and never listens to others. There are better cab services in Natick. Pros: nothing Cons: just there to get money out of you more

Being from the Boston area, when I need to get somewhere I need to get there fast! Tommys was very quick to come pick me up and knew the best way to get me to my destination quickly! more

Reliable service! 9/24/2008

Not sure why some reviewers claim to have received subpar service from Tommy's--I've been using them for years to go back and forth from Logan Express and they are always on time, even early frequently! Always very polite drivers that help with luggage. I have never had a problem, and would recommend Tommy's wholeheartedly! more

Avoid it att all cost 5/21/2008

Worst of the people.Whenever i call for the cab they are late and the people on the line are very rude,They always hang up if i complain they are late.It seems it doesn't matter to them if i'm waiting for my cab for more than half hour.I feel so helpless that i just want to tell the guy on the phone line for being so insensetive and rude.I will not recomend there service to anybody. Horrible 10/22/2007

These guys have always made me wait for atleast an hour after the scheduled time that they were supposed to arrive. I am new here in framingham and once these guys knew that I am regular customer, they started making me wait. When you call up to follow up on whether or not the taxi is gonna arrive these people answer back very rudely. I wont recommend anyone to use their services Cons: You have to pay entire fare inspite of having to wait for like an hour past the scheduled time for the taxi to arrive more

I'm new to the area and was scared by bad reviews for different taxi services, but Tommy's worked well for me. The dispatchers were friendly, they arrived promptly and the drivers were extremely nice. more

Don't get taken for a ""ride"" 5/19/2006

I called Tommys to catch an 11:50 train and indicated if they arrived after 11:40 I didn't need the taxi. Tommy's said, ""No problem."" At 11:40 I tried calling without any luck. The driver arrived at 11:47. He apologized for being late but said we could make the train. This sounded ridiculous, but figured they wouldn't take a pointless fare. We missed the train and the meter ran all the way back to my house. I called Tommys and offered to pay the $7 for the first leg. The condescending dispatcher said things like, Listen honey, we cant pay for your ride. They said I had to pay $20.00 instead. (The return trip had more traffic.) Tommy's cannot comprehend $13 is worth keeping a customer. I believe they knew we would miss the train, but wanted the fare. The worse part was how they talked to me. Cons: Rude, Late, Sneaky more
