Tomahawk Tree Service

We contracted with Tomahawk to remove 3 large trees and prune several others. They came last week and completed the work. They showed up when they said they would and they did an excellent job. You couldn't even tell they had been there, they cleaned up so well. We would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family. more

Absolute waste of time and money. I had them come out and quote on 3 trees, the first tree was cut correctly and at that point I had to leave the house. The second and third tree were not cut correctly. \r \r The sales person that quoted the job said that they would come back out and take care of it. This of course never happened. Then I was told the sales rep (Mike) would come back out with Bob the owner. \r \r After cutting 70% of the tree down I was then told by Bob that he could be sued by the city if he cut any part of the tree without getting it condemned but he'd be happy to cut the rest of the tree down for an additional payment.\r \r Bob also is some kind of businessman as he came on to my property and according to what he said, was recording the entire conversation to be used against me in a court of law. Of course it's my house and he had no authority but I could care less about that as all I really wanted was to have the trees addressed but Tomahawk Tree Service won't do that at the price they have on the contract.\r \r They also said originally that they'd be out in 10 days, after 8 days of waiting to be scheduled I called them as they forgot about me. They were out a week after the call but they don't exactly stand behind what they say.\r \r They also take payment up front, sure they tell you 40% on arrival and 60% on departure but they already have your credit card info so good luck if you use them, I sure won't. \r \r I've also included a pic of one of the trees that was cut badly\r more

We are extremely pleased with the service and work done by Tomahawk Landscape and Tree Service. The 3 guys that came to our home were incredible polite & professional. They endured very cold weather and still did so with a smile. We had three trees completely removed and 3 trees pruned & canopied and the work was done very well. The trees never looked better and no mess was left behind. The price was unbelievable. I was a bit concerned about the work I would receive given the 50% discount we got for the work provided but it was worth every penny and then some. more

We received three quotes for tree service and went with Tomahawk as they were substantially cheaper than the rest. Well, you get what you pay for. They asked us to remove first three, then six shrubs to access the area for tree removal. No problem that day ? however due to the soggy ground they said they would be back to remove the logs and would let us know when. They did not let us know when they were returning and when they came to remove the logs they ran over the very shrubs they had us move on the first half of the job. No problem so far ? a few shrubs no biggie ? their contract says they cannot guarantee the surrounding landscape. However, since they had us remove them in the first place, I felt a call expressing the concern/miscommunication was in order. Cons: Terrible customer service, poor attitude, unprofessional more
