I haven't been able to find the sofa I wanted until now. We could make the exact size, color and style we wanted for a good price and quick delivery. Location is great, too. Very knowledgeable salespeople - thanks, Victoria. more

Great Selection and Service 3/28/2009

We've been looking for living room furniture and couldn't find what we wanted. The Sofa Company had just what we were looking for. Victoria was very knowledgeable and helpful. We're spending more than we wanted, but we're getting exactly what we want. I'd definitely shop here again. Pros: Lots of Choices, Helpful Sales Staff Cons: A little pricey more

Finally, a grown up sofa!!! 3/28/2009

Our 5-year old futon finally gave out and we were on a search for a post-masters degree sofa. We walk in to the Pasadena location at around 3:30pm on a beautiful sunny Pasadena afternoon and completed our experience by 5pm. We did not feel rushed (because we did a little research on their website prior to visiting the store). The attentive staff were not your typical commission-based sales person. We were even told by one of the staff that you customize your sofa based on your style and preference not on the high-end and high priced options. We have a cat and they already had suggestions on fabric and style that would fit cat owners. Pros: knowledgable and genuine staff more

We're Huge Fans of The Sofa Company! 3/26/2009

Our experience with the Sofa Company has been nothing short of exceptional. Jeannie at the Pasadena store knew everything about all their offerings; she had all the pricing (which is reasonable) memorized; knew about fabrics; and most importantly, she was patient with us as we chased our three-year old around the store! They even had an interior designer on staff to help us wade through the options. The choices can seem overwhelming after a while, but Jeannie was great at bringing us back down to Earth. The Sofa Company's stuff is made in locally in LA to boot, which makes us happy. This is the thinking person's answer to the cattle shutes at Ikea! Create a sofa your way? 3/25/2009

Jeanine greeted us when we arrive and asked if we needed assistance and then she allowed us to browse without any presure to buy. She was very knowledgable about colors that work together and types of fabrics that will withstand teenage boys and dogs, It was an enjoyable shopping experience. Build your own sofa? 3/24/2009

I'm still waiting on my sofa, so I'll withhold final judgment. That said, the purchasing process was a good one. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Had trouble narrowing down fabric choices. And, a $599 sofa quickly became a $1,000 one--just because of the fabric. If I had chosen some of the other options the price could have been higher still. Don't go in expecting a bargain. But, given that it is customized and manufactured locally, the price does seem fair. Pros: Many styles, fabrics, other options to choose from. Staff. Cons: Too many options? Price escalates quickly. more

Wonderful Service 3/21/2009

I really liked the fact that we were told exactly what we were gettig and we not cheated into getting a more expensive deal. If you are trying to find a sofa place where you get a good deal and a wide variaty of high end sofas for a reasonable price, this is the place to look. And make sure you ask for Chad, he is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Pros: Great service, lots of variaties, and fantastic posibilities more

We were helped by a very cordial & knowledgable associate, and had plenty of styles to choose from. We were able to specify everything we wanted down the smallest detail, and the price was very reasonable. The hardest part was choosing from amongst the hundreds of available coverings! Awesome Product and Service 3/17/2009

I just purchased a sectional from The Sofa Company, and I was truly satisfied with the buying experience. Besides the wide variety of styles, colors, configurations, and fabric, I was especially pleased with the customer service. I had the chance to interact with Chad and Peter. Chad was the store manager and also an interior designer. Peter was the expert on sectionals. Both of them were very friendly and helpful. They know when to give me some personal space to think about design choices and when to give suggestions. I highly recommend The Sofa Company to anyone who wants no hassle to pick the perfect custom sofa for his/her homes or offices!! Pros: lots of customizable options, exceptional customer service more

We had been searching for just the right sofa for so long, trying to match color and style to a modern day bed, with no luck. Lots of selection 3/13/2009

Finally a sofa store where you are not limited to what is in the showroom. We looked at other furniture stores and this store had the best selection of styles, fabrics and prices. We were able to pick the sofa of our choice and customized it , including the height of the back of the sofa within an hour. It was a pleasent shopping experience!! Knowledgeable and Patient Staff Made It So Easy 3/8/2009

I have been searching for a new sofa for over 8 years and not until I visited The Sofa Company did I find what I was looking for: that combination of great service and good products at a good price that got me to hand over my hard earned cash. First of all, Victoria was exceptionally helpful, patient and never pushed me to spend more than I wanted. Second, the choices are endless so plan on spending time inside. Like someone else wrote, be sure to park underground (at the Pasadena store). It's free and you won't need to do meter parking. I highly recommended The Sofa Company if you need help making decisions or want to feel good about the ones you made. Pros: Staff, selection Cons: None come to mind. more

Wonderful service. I spent a lot of time choosing a sofa, Victoria was soooo patient! The choices are endless. Be sure to park underground (at the Pasadena store). It's free and you won't need to do meter parking. They also do reupholstering and offer extra fabric (for future pillows) if you wish. Check them out online, too. Highly recommended. Pros: You can have ANYTHING in any size made to order. Cons: Could get a bit pricey but that depends on what you want. more
