Pasadena's The Sofa Company is the best place to shop for your new sofa! The staff is friendly and knows their products. It is a rare experience to receive time and attention, as you will at The Sofa Company. The Sofa Company offers you many choices,in the details, that you will not usually find in your typical department store. They have many pictured choices (postcard sized), of the different sofa styles, that you can take home to start your imagination running wild on your design possibilities! I appreciated the feedback and helpful suggestions my salesperson gave me, when designing the leather sectional I recently ordered. Many styles and lots of custom options. Airy, stylish, modern arkiteky ambience, really helpful sales people, in a great Pasadena neighborhood. Caution: don't let your parking meter expire, there are meter nazis waiting to pounce. more

I spent a lot of time browsing online and in stores for a loveseat, chair & ottoman before I went to The Sofa Company. Their website suggested good quality furniture and lots of choices with a reasonable price. You can even build your own sofa online, which I did to get a sense of what I want, but I had not made up my mind because, of course, it's important to see and try out the product in person. more

If you buy a sofa anywhere else, you need to question whether you value money. This place is amazing - you get exactly what you want (because its all custom with endless choices in style and fabric) at half of what the same thing would cost you somewhere else. We enjoyed choosing our new sofa here. We had lots of questions and I think we considered every fabric sample in the store, and our sales rep was very patient with us. She brought all the sample books to us while we sat comfortably on the model of the sofa we had chosen. They had a wide variety of models at various price points, which suited us well. I also liked that the sales rep didn't try to up-sell us - I asked about leather and she recommended against it for our concerns (cats, baby on the way - suggesting teflon-coated microfiber instead) rather than trying to get us to spend more money on a product that she did not feel was right for us. She also patiently held the order for a few days while we deliberated between two fabrics (one of which she had to go hunt down on special order and didn't complain at all when we chose the other one). I would happily recommend them. Pros: Wide variety, good service Cons: Parking can be tricky in this area but lots of public lots if you don't mind walking a block or two. more

I just moved to Pasadena and needed a sofa in hurry. I saw The Sofa Co's website after a quick google search and saw they made custom sofas. I was worried at first that it would take too long/be expensive, but I saw that they had in stock models too. Since they were so close and their site looked pretty sweet, I thought it was worth a shot - I wasnt dissapointed! Their store is just as their site led me to believe, sofas quick, easy, and cool! I ended up ordering one custom anyway because I coudlnt resist the fun of choosing all the options and my color and all. I wanted to wait to write this review until I got delivery, which I did on Saturday. its exactly what I wanted! A little firmer then I expected but I called and they said it would break in, so I really dont have any complaints - Check them out! its worth it more

Its really hard to find a good sofa. Really! I mean either they are too hard or too expensive or too purple or whatever! I roamed around LA for what felt like forever, and then one day while I was minding my own business shopping on Colorado, I just about ran into the Sofa Company in Pasadena. Okay I looking for coffee and they happened to be right next to a coffee place but the timing couldnt have been better! As soon as I walked in I was struck by how different the store looked and how many options they had. Although I was a little nervous at first, the staff there made me feel very comfortable and showed me the ropes. About 45 minutes and one latte later, I purchased a ""Gia"" sofa with all the options I wanted. It will be ready in a few weeks and I couldnt be more excited!! We enjoyed interacting with the Sofa Company sales rep (Victoria). It was a very pleasurable experience to have a knowledgable sales person that did not rush or force us to purchase. We were allowed to roam freely and take our time to make decisions based on our own design requirements. Victoria made the entire process of designing our sofa and decision making simple. We would highly recommend the Sofa Company to family and friends. We will gladly return for further sofa purchases at this store.
