The Shipping Store

The owner of the company is RUDE, Arrogant, and Disrespectful. He does not know how to be personable and relate to the people that help his small business stay in business. I have used the P.O. Box service there for over 2 years and the owner NEVER addressed me by my name or remembered my boxes number. He hardly greets me when I enter. When I brought the concern to his attention he was very nonchalant. I have helped support his business overlooking his rudeness, but enough is enough. I needed to drop off a retail return at a UPS pick-up location, so I brought it to the Shipping Store at 86th & Ditch. When I saw a woman storm out of the store, that should have been my first clue about the level of service I was about to receive. I needed to secure part of my package with a piece of tape, and there was a tape dispenser out on a table, I assumed for customer use. When I put the tape on my package, the owner yelled, ""Wait,"" came over and took the dispenser from me, and did it himself, explaining he didn't want me to hurt myself. Huh? Then he said that will be $1 for the tape and $3 for the UPS pick-up. This is supposed to be a free service! And $1 for a piece of tape? When I questioned him on it, he got really mad and ended up calling me the B word and telling me to leave his store! I couldn't believe my ears. My ""gift of fear"" kicked in and I left right away. I will never enter this store again, and would advise anyone else - - especially women who are alone - - against it. I truly wish I could write a good review, as I love to support independent businesses, but this shop needs to be outed as a horrible place to do business. more

Absolutely terrible customer service. They have thus far given my mail away to the wrong person on TWO occasions. They are very unresponsive to any requests. I had mail forwarding set up and the card on file expired. They never gave me a call to let me know and just STOPPED forwarding my mail. When we asked the owner why he didn't call he said that ""I have a bad attitude"" and hung up the phone on me! If you are a business and need your mail just save yourself the haste and stay away!
