Friendly service, and well organized. The storage area is very clean and efficient. Security is top notch as well.

The fact that my rent went up $50.00 from one year to the next feels like price gouging. It is going to be a pain to move all of my stuff but that is sadly what I will have to do ...

Excellent service and great people! 7/20/2016

I have a unit with Old Barn Self Storage and I am very satisfied with it. The unit and the grounds of the complex are always clean and well kept. The staff whenever I see them are friendly and helpful, making it easy to make payments for the unit. The complex itself is secure and the accessibility is good, I have never had an issue with either of these aspects. My stuff will be with Old Barn for years to come! more

Excellent 7/14/2016

Old Barn Self Storage has been friendly. The grounds are well kept and maintained. The units are nice because of the fire extinguisher feature. Easy to talk to for customer service. I have been using them for 3 years and they have never failed me. They have always been there for me. more

Difficult for me to review because I haven't been to the storage unit in almost 2 years. I'm assuming the temperature is being controlled and that my goods are secure. more

The people managing it are great, Facility superb 6/13/2016

Actually my husband is the managing partner at for Old Barn so I am very prejudiced as how I feel. It is wonderful, the managers are wonderful, the people in the industry call it the Cadillac of self storage. It is well lit, well maintained and they work with the community non profits. All in all it is the best there is in Nevada County more

Price 6/10/2016

I have been renting storage space there for more than 10 years and we are not happy with all the price increases, we rent 2 spaces and i know others who rent even more, your gonna start loosing customers due to that fact. I know People who rent there and they are telling people your prices and they go elsewhere. more

Very friendly 6/9/2016

Every time I go in to make a payment, everyone there is so friendly and nice. Someone is always at the front desk too which is nice so you're never waiting to be helped. Their facilities are very clean as well and I would recommend them to anyone for their storage needs. more

I really like Old Barn Self Storage because the people who run it are really great people. This is a reliable place where I know I can store my possessions and I do not have to worry about their security. These people do a great job of doing what they are supposed to do and I do what I am supposed to do and it provides a very harmonious experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone! more

Impossible to get rid of things and very expensive 5/18/2016

Since the new owner took over, Old Barn Self Storage has gotten worse. I have two storage containers and I spend more on them in a month than they're worth. The two people running it here in Grass Valley are just great, though. I have nothing but good things to say about them. It's just the owner that I have difficulties with. Since I have to work all week, there's just not enough time on the weekends for me to get rid of the stuff. I can't just take my stuff out on the street and sell it. They get stuck with a bunch of stuff that people leave behind and just put penalties on everything. How can you pay late fees if you can't pay for it in the first place? I want to be honest and not leave the place with all of my stuff behind. They do auctions but the pricing is very unfair. I will say that it's very clean, very safe and because it's on a hill, it doesn't get flooded when it rains. If they made it possible for people to open up the units and do a yard sale, I would be much happier. more

Good customer service. Friendly and available. 5/9/2016

Old Barn Self Storage was very good in terms of customer service and being friendly and available anytime we called and also for being there anytime we needed to access the unit. The only reason for going down one star in that some of the workers don't always know what's the best storage arrangement for you depending on how much stuff you have, I thought they were trying to suggest a locker that was a little more than we actually needed. But it's a business so you can't blame them. I don't blame them, they were fine. more

Safe, secure, and the cheapest in town 4/26/2016

I've had my storage unit at Old Barn Self Storage since 2010 and they're the cheapest and cleanest in town. All of the other prices at the other storage facilities keep going up, but Old Barn Self Storage keeps their prices consistent and when they do increase, they only go up by a small amount. The people who work here treat you really nice and greet you with a smile and the grounds are well maintained. I feel like my belongings are safe and secure and everything here has been good. more

Trustworthy and clean 4/14/2016

My parents are deceased and I have all their stuff in storage with Old Barn Self Storage. Since my parents are gone, everything I treasure of theirs is in that storage unit. I can't get my parents back, but at least I know that nothing of theirs will ever be stolen or damaged. Old Barn Self Storage has everything they need to protect your things. I live in Texas and the storage unit is in California, but I trust them even though it is so far away. They call me each month with updates and they always let me know if something is wrong. I like that they offer a truck to help move your stuff in, and the facilities are very clean and organized. My only complaint is that they have raised the prices a couple of times in the past three and a half years I have been using them. However, I really like Old Barn Self Storage and I know I can trust them. more

Overall a good, clean, secure storage facility 3/13/2016

My only problem is the cost. I have been there since March 2014 and have had two rate increases. The current rate is now making me look for alternatives. more
