Friendly service, and well organized. The storage area is very clean and efficient. Security is top notch as well.

Worst

The fact that my rent went up $50.00 from one year to the next feels like price gouging. It is going to be a pain to move all of my stuff but that is sadly what I will have to do ...

There is confusion with computer dates 4/18/2015

The facility is stellar; they keep it so clean! And when its hot Maxine comes out with water so we don't faint. They are so great. The problem is the computer payment date has not been as agreed upon and it has cost me hundreds of dollars. Its just a matter of prorating the payment from the 29th to the following 3rd... I'm so disappointed. Now they haven't cashed the last payment...oh well. more

The couple that run this storage, are nothing but nice, accomadating, and wonderful. The place itself is always clean and secure. I am always recommending it as the best storage units around. more

I have had a storage locker for over a year at Old Barn Self Storage. The people who run the place are pleasant and helpful. The units are clean and in good repair. It is a real pleasure to have my things stored there, especially since I live out of state and can not get out on a regular basis. I feel my things are secure there and therefore have less to worry about (other than getting my things from CA to my place here!). I definitely recommend them. more

Front desk needs some work on friendly customer service 4/14/2015

It's a good, clean, safe facility. But Geraldine at the Front Desk can be in a bad mood at times. One Saturday I went over there to drop off some e-waste -- I got there at 4:30, 30 minutes before the official 5 pm closing time, and the front door was locked. Geraldine was at the desk, and she made a face when she saw me there and had to unlock the door. And she was totally NOT happy about having to get in her golf court and open the e-waste storage room -- even though that's all she had to do. I was the one that physically handled the e-waste! She made the experience a totally awkward one -- not cool at all when I have been paying $81 a month for the past year to store my stuff. But when it comes to the standard storage procedures, no complaints. more

The managers, Lloyd and Maxine, are friendly and informative. Facilities are centrally located, accessible for large trucks, secure and well maintained. Service is a top priority! Thanks Lloyd and Max! more

Stellar Storage 4/10/2015

Old Barn Self-storage has been a wonderful resource for our family for over 4 years. One family member moved to Grass Valley in 2010, and her excess went into a small unit. Then my in-laws moved up and we got a larger unit so both families could economize. Now, because of new needs, we have added a second unit. All the units have been in the same building so that shifting belongings could not be easier, and the personnel could not be nicer about all our changes. The building is always clean and dry and pest-free. Five stars for sure. more
