Review content:
Since the new owner took over, Old Barn Self Storage has gotten worse. I have two storage containers and I spend more on them in a month than they're worth. The two people running it here in Grass Valley are just great, though. I have nothing but good things to say about them. It's just the owner that I have difficulties with. Since I have to work all week, there's just not enough time on the weekends for me to get rid of the stuff. I can't just take my stuff out on the street and sell it. They get stuck with a bunch of stuff that people leave behind and just put penalties on everything. How can you pay late fees if you can't pay for it in the first place? I want to be honest and not leave the place with all of my stuff behind. They do auctions but the pricing is very unfair. I will say that it's very clean, very safe and because it's on a hill, it doesn't get flooded when it rains. If they made it possible for people to open up the units and do a yard sale, I would be much happier.
