The guys at The Home Theater Store really put me at ease in terms of making my purchase. Their technical expertise is incredible, yet they are good at explaining their products without using techie language. I had other options, but they made me feel the most comfortable. I knew that I'd chosen the right people. I think that the Home Theater team probably had more fun installing my system than I did, that's how enthusiastic they were. They put in a projector, screen and stereo system in my home. I was really impressed with their dedication, too, because I needed the installation done quickly. I had some family coming into town, and even though they were already tied up in a big job, they made time for me. They came over after a full days's work, and were here late into the night to finish up and ensure that I was happy. It was truly exceptional. I even met the owner of The Home Theater Store, and he, too, was really personable. I called The Home Theater Store at the last minute, right before the SuperBowl. I had originally contacted another installer but they were unrelaible. So, I hired The Home Theater Store to install a home theater, screen and projector. The service guys were very friendly and accommodating. My experience with The Home Theater Store has been great. I have worked primarily with Brian, whose service has been outstanding. He his very knowledgeable and he has done a good job helping me select the right components for my needs. The installers were also very knowledgeable. I was impressed. I hired The Home Theater Store to re-architect a home theater system, including mutliple rooms, with home automation and the control 4 system. I used to have six different remotes and they are now consolidated. I can now control televisions, DVD players, sound and lighting in multiple rooms. It is unbelievable. I recently contacted The Home Theater Store about some work that I wanted done that same day. My conversation with Jamie was what made me decide to use their service. I have a complex system, and I felt that he knew what he was talking about. Even though it was a small project, changing the wiring for a new television, Jamie shuffled his crew around to accommodate me and make it happen. While they were there, I had them evaluate another project that involved moving around some security cameras. They came up with an inexpensive and reasonable solution. The technicians were very knowledgeable and nice. I had done one piece of wiring for the television myself and, when it was not working, they turned around and came back late at night to fix it even though it was not work that they had done. I was very impressed with that...their service exceeded my expectations. more

The Home Theater Store installed a dedicated home theater in my basement room four years ago and went well beyond the call of duty. They did everything from A to Z: designed it, laid it out, and did all of the woodwork and electrical. From beginning to end, it was the perfect job. When I initially went in to talk to them about the project, I had already talked to other companies and had a good technical knowledge of what I wanted. I could tell that Jamie and Brian knew what they were doing. In addition to their technical knowledge, their integrity really comes through in what they say. They came and measured out the room and gave me a very good, competitive price, as well as a preferred-customer discount on the equipment, which is high-quality. They did a great installation. When I had Jamie remove the old projector and install a new one recently, they did not charge me at all for the installation. I have been extremely satisfied with The Home Theater Store and would encourage people to call Jamie if they would like to talk to me about my experience with them. The Home Theater Store initially installed my entire home theater system and I had an excellent experience with them. I continue to use them because they are knowledgeable: They really know what they are doing. They recently recalibrated my system because I had changed my television service and other things that affected the system. I had tried other electronic services but found that people who you would think know about this stuff, do not. With The Home Theater Store, you will get your money's worth. I would give The Home Theater Store 10-star ratings if I could. They were a phenomenal organization to work with, an amazing one-stop shop. We moved here from Chicago, having just built a brand-new house, and we knew that we wanted to put in a home theater. I first heard about The Home Theater Store in a niche, home-theater magazine, where their work was featured with text and photos. I was impressed with what I saw in the magazine and it turned out that The Home Theater Store's location in Kennesaw was near my new home in Peachtree City. They made an appointment to come meet with me and they were very professional, right on time. The complete home theater that they installed for us was a huge job. I purchased all of my equipment from them and they set up everything. Having shopped around and done my research, I appreciated that they sold me equipment at competitive pricing that was appropriate for my budget. They did not try to sell me a more expensive piece of equipment or something that I did not need. The actual construction of the room was done by my contractor but The Home Theater Store worked directly with him to tell us how it had to be set up, in terms of the platform for seating and the acoustics of the room. They also did the pre-wire while the basement was being constructed, before the Sheetrock was in. When the room was completed, they ran all of the electrical, hung the speakers, and tweaked everything. I have been an audiophile and a videophile since I was a teenager, so I know how these things are done and how I like them to be done. The Home Theater Store did it exactly the way that I would have done it without me even telling them. In fact, I was in Chicago most of the time that they were doing the initial work and, when I saw what they had done, I was flabbergasted by the high quality of the job. All of the wires were neatly tied and labeled. After the installation, they came back out to tweak the equipment. Brian, who was the supervisor on the project, checked sound pressures and distances. When I had questions having to do with programming, they answered them and took care of everything. When one piece of equipment had a malfunction at no fault of The Home Theater Store, they replaced it for me with no questions. I highly recommend The Home Theater Store. They are so good that I would not go anywhere else. more

What I like the best about them is that they are very familiar with the latest technology and offer excellent guidence on which technology will serve me best. I decided to use The Home Theater Store because I was impressed with the way things went during my initial meeting with Jamie and Bill. They did an entire home theater in my basement as well as the lighting, speakers, and all of the audio and video equipment. They also connected the work to the rest of our house with media and lights upstairs. The basement project took about a year. The guys at The Home Theater Store did a very good job meeting and working with my general contractor. It was a tough situation because they had to work with each other's schedules. I also liked the fact that The Home Theater Store guys were readily accessible. You can call, email or text them and they get back to you very quickly. There were some inevitable minor issues along the way that The Home Theater Store worked through with us. If something was their mistake, they took care of it and ate the extra cost. I know that they have since hired another person to help with organization. Overall, we had a good experience with them and, so far, everything has worked out well with our system. We have been very happy with The Home Theater Store. From start to finish, they were very flexible. The project that they did for us was unique in that it was not a separate home theater room. Rather, it was a large basement that they converted into an entertainment space complete with a sports table, card table, bar, and home theater. The theater is visible no matter where you are in the room, so there is flexibility in being able to show a movie that can be watched from the bar, for example. The project was featured in Electronic House magazine in an article entitled "Planning Guide: 10 Steps to a Home Theater" (June 2007). They also did the audio system throughout our house, and the kitchen portion of this project was also featured in Electronic House magazine (May 2007). Before we decided to use The Home Theater Store, we interviewed 5 builders and 4 other home theater companies. We liked The Home Theater Store's approach the best. They were extremely flexible and responsive to our needs, which we thought was important. Their price points also were reasonable and fair. Before we did our homework on them, we got references from their previous customers, who highly recommended them. Working with The Home Theater Store was a great experience. They were able to adjust to changes in the project and they got the job done on time. They stuck to the plan we had established. They also were timely in getting back to us after the project was completed, when things needed to be tweaked and adjusted. Currently, The Home Theater Store has been working on our behalf to resolve an equipment issue that we are having, even though it is not their fault. Our receiver is in the repair shop and we have been trying to get a part from the company that makes the receiver. However, it is one of their flagship receivers from 2006 and they no longer make the circuit board for the product. The Home Theater Store has been helpful in working through this issue with us. Because of their excellent service, I have already referred them to a number of people, including my colleagues and other professionals in the medical field. more

I have had a good experience with The Home Theater Store. They have quality products and are very knowledgeable. They were referred by a friend of mine and did an entire home theater installation for me 2 years ago. Since the installation, I have had them come back a couple of times to add to the system. I have continued using them because they have the most knowledge about my system. I would recommend The Home Theater Store. They are great people and they provide good service. Because they are thinly staffed, I would recommend getting a commitment from them as to when they will have the work done for you so that they have a deadline. I was their first customer about 10 years ago. It was serendipitous in that I had co-founded a Dot-com and Jamie was one of my employees, but I found The Home Theater Store independently of knowing Jamie. I initially looked at several other companies and it was a stiff, rigorous process. I chose The Home Theater Store over two or three other vendors because they were a highly qualified, full-service vendor and I felt that I could trust them. They were a one-stop shop, from controlling of the contractor to the purchasing of equipment. The first thing that they did for me was build an entire home theater from an unfinished room. They did the planning and pre-wiring, and installed soundboard walls, carpet, chairs and equipment -- the whole nine yards. They did a good job up front, so I have continued to use them over the years when I have needed to refresh the equipment and upgrade. I also have used them to install the system in my master bedroom and to do the audio and video setup for one of my businesses. They know what they are doing and they are good guys to deal with. The only glitches I have experienced have been on the equipment side, which is expected. Jamie has always stood behind it and made sure that I was happy in the end. They have had ample opportunity to lose me as a customer but have always come through and kept me. I have already recommended The Home Theater Store to 3 or 4 of my neighbors. I would encourage others to give them a look. They are dependable and they do high-quality work. more
