DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!! BEWARE 12/5/2011

If there's any advice I can give you, it's RUN from this place! It's built on smoke & mirrors. Looks great on the outside, but inside.... Cheap, bad construction. Paper thin walls. You can hear everything around you, inside & out. You can hear voices, dogs barking, toilets flushing. It's pathetic & WAY OVERPRICED! Building D was flooded recently In October with 2"" of water on the entire 1st floor of building. They didn't strap plumbing pipes properly & when your neighbors flush the toilet upstairs, you're in for a treat of banging pipes within the walls. Water comes out of the bathroom vents when it rains. There's no screens on windows, no ventilation. So when your a/c goes out-----tough luck. Mine went out in the heat of summer on a 90 degree day at 5pm on a Friday. The office told me to wait til Monday and they wouldn't call an a/c repairman because they wanted to go with their own ""warranty company"" while my family suffered in heat & no ventilation. The so called ""amenities"" are a joke! Never work. The hot tub has not been hot since last march, its usually colder than your body temperature. The movie room is always broken. The golf simulator is broken. This is the biggest scam going. Everyone has dogs. Big Dogs. They let their dogs poop in 2 little yards around the complex. It stinks. And speaking of female dogs---- Christina & Kyle in the office are a real treat to deal with. They literally yell at you as a customer, tell you to move out if you don't like it. They conveniently "" lost"" the receipt for my move in deposit that i paid, & never paid it back to me. They are both nasty, liars & unprofessional & genuinely rotten, bad people. The Bridge Group Real estate company that was managing this wont' let me speak to the owners or their attorneys. Another south Florida SCAM company!! more

The Truth – Good Cover , Bad Service. All About The Business 5/10/2010

In my first few months at The Heritage (Eden) was fine with no major problems at all, then they were bought out by The Bridge Management Group. The quality went down a lot and they do not care about you once you sign the lease and hand over your check. You would expect some adjustment when a new management company comes in, but this is ridiculous. This is place is NOT patrolled by any kind of security EVER. We do have a gate guard though that does not pay attention or screen anyone. Any car that pulls up is let through with little to no questioning and during the day there is no security what so ever. Part of the justification The Bridge Management Group uses for the high prices in rent as a sales pitch is security, what they actually have is not secure at all. The staff in the leasing office is all about the business of meeting tenant quotas and playing around with numbers to get you to sign. Everything is extra here – cable, water and trash…..they actually charge above the rent for water and trash removal. You have to be kidding me. They also have an extra charge for a garage if you want one. It makes sense to charge extra for that but the cost is the same as a monthly garage fee in Manhattan. I would never pay $1,920.00 per year for a 1 car garage on top of rent, water/trash charge. The lighting in the parking lots is poor at night and couple that with the lack of true security, it is not worth it. The leasing office employees will say what you want to hear to “close” you and once you are in, forget it. You will be met with a smug attitude and a shrug of the shoulders if you need anything. When you look at the overall cost at the end of the month to live here, it is not worth it. The units are beautiful but the living experience is terrible. I am so unhappy and cannot wait to get out and move in another 3 months. Feeling like you were “had” is a bad feeling and to experience that every time you come home is even worse. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Pros: Nice Unit Cons: Security is a joke, over priced, poor lighting, staff unkind more

A Total Scam 9/28/2008

Mr. Fetter of Transitions presents himself as a knowledgeable social worker, who after years of experience working with troubled children, has developed a program that supposedly helps struggling teens and their families by getting at the root of the problem. He charges a $1500 flat fee up front, cashes the check and then fails to follow up with what he agreed to do. He recommended a boarding school for our child that provided inadequate supervision and unprofessional counseling. Fetters said he would monitor our child's progress with monthly reports to us, which he never provided. Repeated phone calls to him were never returned. The grief and pain inflicted upon a family with a troubled teen is only exacerbated by Mr. Fetters' scam through his business Transitions, Inc.\r Concerned parents seeking help for their troubled teen should seek help elsewhere. Cons: Takes your money, cashes the check, and never returns your calls more

Nothing But Problems 9/17/2007

After having been through years of disappointment trying to find a facility to help my afflicted child, someone had recommended ""Transitions"" , a placement program offered by Richard Fetters. After having paid a $1500.00 ""placement fee"", we realized that we had made a tremendous mistake. He does well on cashing the check, after that, you are on your own. You spend most of your time tracking him down trying to find out what is going on. Above the grief that we as parents experience with the debilitating disease and circumstances that we have to deal with, Mr. Fetters adds immeasurably to that grief. His business feloniously misrepresents the supposed placement of an individual who requires the necessary rehab that is a part of the possible stabilization protocol. If you come across Mr. Fetters or ""Transitions or what he misrepresents, keep looking. Nothing but problems here. Cons: Doesn't return your phone calls, doesn't follow through; doesn't do anything but take your money, don't go there! more
