Since we have been working with The Helsing Group, the professionalism of all association operations have improved tremendously. More importantly, we know how the association's are supposed to operate! We should have made this switch long ago. more

This company is the best I have seen in 15 years of being a board member. The ability to go online and monitor their activities I have seen nowhere else... the constant feedback through web forms allows the board to monitor the true status of customer service. more

Their customer service personnel are friendly, responsive, and prompt. Their managers understand the community and the laws we must work under. The owner is prompt to respond to any concerns, and most importantly they are honest. Our old company was taking vendor kickbacks!!! They charged less, but were ripping us off way more than we thought we were saving. It took the helsing group to show us how they were doing it. more

The Helsing Group recommended a utility audit which saved us $10,000 a year. Their proactive approach to issues helps us as a board stay ahead of the power curve. Our previous manager basically just took notes. more

These guys solved a problem 3/22/2011

These guys solved a parking problem that the board had struggled with for months, they did it in less than a month. Now they get complaints from homeowners who are having their cars towed. Hope readers on sites like this and others can see this through this. Folks, follow the rules. Boards get a management company like this one that will enforce the rules. more

The Helsing group was able to get our 3 hour long homeowner forum periods down to 15 minute ""member comment periods""! Now meetings are productive instead of non productive arguments.... more

Is one star the minimum? I want to give negative 1000. The Helsing Group's staff doesn't know anything about follow-up. They talk over the phone and completely forget what they've promised over the phone. They are costly but w/ NO efficiency. Not responsive at all. I would never bought the unit if I know the community has such a poor HOA. TOTALLY agree w/ other 1-star reviews. This company should definitely be replaced!!!!!!!! more

Bad worst hoa in bay area 3/12/2010

kb homes uses helsing group for most of its communities. My family finally sold our kb home at stanford place kb community in pittsburg. Helsing wouldnt clean BBQ grill in parks. water fountain filthy. final straw helsing cancelled pest control service to save money. My kids couldnt play outside afraid of pests. Helsing is money hungry dont wanna spend a dime. Charge $200 a month get nothing. the community is filled with pests. helsing cared less never returned phone calls. Hometeam confirm that Helsing stopped services no replacement pest company. dont buy homes in community run by the helsing. all bad 1/4 star is too high. bad bad bad Pros: no pros - all cons Cons: nonresponsive careless more

HORRIBLE & COSTLY 9/3/2009

Horrible follow-up on any issues. Quick to send notice if payment is overdue. Says issues cost to much so they will not do anything about it. Does not return calls. Does not fix any maintenance issues until continuous calls for months. I have friends that live in nicer communities with amenities who pay 75% less. Would give no star's but this thing makes you give at least one. more

very very bad experience 3/30/2009

Helsing group only cares relationship with builder , doesn't care home onwer's request at all. Expense is high while efficience is low. Manager is very hard and impatient to communicate with. It refuses to do what every HOA can do such as HOA CERT. If you don't want yourself being trapped in a nightmare, do avoid this one. Pros: Example: best croissants in town Cons: What are the drawbacks? more
