This place has always been a favorite! The service is like nothing you find on pearl street or anywhere else in Boulder. Unrivaled wine list and delicious menu! The duck rendered ...

Just ate at the Greenbriar, it was pretty disapointing. The service was very good but the food wasn't anything special. Out of 6 dishes, only 2 of them were really

I had not been here in this lovely dinning spot in 41 years and it was even better than I remembered. Excellent food and service, a waiter who knew how to be exceptional! more

We had a beautiful table on the patio and the weather was perfect. We had a lovely 2-1/2 hour brunch catching up with friends. Not a cheap outing, but definitely a wonderful special occasion. more

Greenbriar is always a treat for atmosphere, wine list, delicious cuisine, and usually excellent service. Its menu, while traditional American fare, always includes interesting twists. This time, its portions, which are sensible, were overpriced. more

This is a beautiful restaurant that has been there for over 40 years - with good reason, as it is still an excellent place to have a ""dining experience"". The food was great, particularly the Beef Wellington and the grilled octopus. Salads were really good also. The service is attentive, but expect a fairly slow, leisurely experience. more

This has always been a favorite for the best ambiance and fantastic brunch for any occasion. I would recommend the Greenbriar to anyone I know or meet that was looking for a great place to experience great food and atmosphere. more

We enjoyed the brunch very much and especially appreciated the variety of offerings, including vegetarian fare. We liked the option of unlimited sparkling apple cider, too. The logistics at the buffet could be improved by separating the made to order omelet bar and by having sufficient serving utensils. If you have mobility issues you should notify the restaurant since some... more

Dinner was great during Denver restaurant week. Everything was perfect. Keanu was fantastic. Very attentive. Food was amazing, 3 courses for $30! more

As every other restaurant in Colorado has moved to be trendy and unique, The Greenbriar has become the only truly unique restaurant in the area because it is the last great fine dining experience. Traditional (mostly) french cooking, formal waitstaff, and a beautiful setting. more

Food and service was outstanding. Lovely spot at the base of the foothill. Great for a romantic dinner or a small group. more

The Greenbriar Inn was fantastic for dinner. My wife and I had a fantastic bottle of wine recommended by our server, Devon. We started with a tabIe side Caesar salad, which was one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had. I had the Beef Wellington and my wife had the lamb, both dishes were cooked to perfection. We had great service and a wonderful experience here. This is not the kind of place for a quick dinner, but who would want dine like that at the Green Briar. Five Stars, we will definitely be back. more

So nice to find a restaurant where there's a calm, un-rushed, care-full manner and great food. We has been there many years ago when we lived in Boulder and enjoyed it. We returned for Denver Restaurant Week to see what it is like in the present and it has only gotten better -- it that were possible. The food was creative, beautifully and carefully prepared and presented. The service was attentive without ""hovering"" and we felt totally relaxed and at ease -- no rush here. The wine list is excellent, with very good choices at reasonable prices in the company of noteworthy ""stars."" We'll return! more

Greenbriar Inn is one of the few truly fine-dining establishments in the Boulder area. And yet one can have a relaxed, informal dinner in the bar area (a separate room) or, weather permitting, out on the patio under magnificent old trees (great to do this just for a few small plates and wine). Having eaten here numerous times, we can honestly say that every dish is excellent, well-prepared and beautifully presented. The caesar salad, prepared table-side, is the best in town. Service is always friendly, professional and attentive. We had the crispy-skin arctic char this night--wonderful. The award-winning wine list is endless, and the wines available by the glass are well chosen. A higher-price restaurant, but worth every dollar. Getting there is a brief, pleasant drive north of town. more

We were in town visiting some friends and they suggested we try this place for our Anniversary dinner. The waitstaff was great and very attentive. They made sure we had a great experience. A bit pricey but for an anniversary dinner, it was worth it. The food was delicious and their grounds are beautiful with a lot of flowers and green grounds. We sat on the patio so we were able to take in the scenery. more

After wedding brunch buffet was delicious, the eggs Benedict was superb and the prime rib was excellent. The desserts to die for and the staff was very attentive. Wish I could have ordered from the menu though, I will be going back. more

This is our go-to place for special occasions, and we have never been disappointed. Food, service, and ambiance are always outstanding. The Inn has an elegance to it, but it is by no means pretentious. You'll have a lovely time there with a date, friends, or family. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 1/12/2016

New Year's Eve events are always overpriced but they managed to deliver a good experience - but there are always compromises and while presentation was good service was slow more
