This place has always been a favorite! The service is like nothing you find on pearl street or anywhere else in Boulder. Unrivaled wine list and delicious menu! The duck rendered ...

Just ate at the Greenbriar, it was pretty disapointing. The service was very good but the food wasn't anything special. Out of 6 dishes, only 2 of them were really

Great brunch 5/1/2010

This is a great place to go for brunch. The buffet is always fantastic - hot, fresh and a great selection. more

how can the waitress call my home phone asking tips!!! 3/9/2010

I always had the good image about Greenbriar before, but last time, I ate with my daughter there and they neglect us the whole time. We wanted to change the seat and nobody even came back and do nothing for us, then, the food was really normal too, plus they charge my 9 years old daughter the same price like me, so I left without tipping, she called me back to my house and left message asking for tips. I donot think I will ever go back there anymore. more

Greenbriar Inn is great 6/26/2009

I went to a reception here and it was so beautiful and wonderful. They have the loveliest grounds and it is just amazing. The service was wonderful. more

Good food, negligent service 6/7/2009

Wait staff was pleasant, but very forgetful. Several things we requested never came. When I made the reservation I said we would be celebrating my husband's birthday and was assured they would make note of that. Along with our requests for a drink and some pepper, it was forgotten. Pros: Mostly good food, well prepared Cons: Caesar salad lackluster. Service poor. more

Excellent food, Interesting Menu 3/29/2009

I've always considered the Greenbrian Inn a special occasion restaurant, probably because they always treat you very special. They have a great menu and there is always something unusual or unexpected added to the mix. Definitely make reservations, it not the kind of place you can just walk in, and it's book most of the time. That should be a testament in itself as to how good the food is. more

Classy 12/30/2008

I just went to the Greenbriar recently for the first time in several years, and they have maintained excellent service and delicious food. The extent of their menu is amazing-- every dish has not only a unique main item, but it is accompanied by sides with a great blend of flavors, including unexpectedly delectable combinations, such as a spicy chocolate truffle. They have food I would never dream of dreaming up. \r When we went to the Greenbriar, my mom was using a gift certificate from her birthday, and even though her birthday was a month before, they still brought out a mini creme brulee to mark the occasion. \r Service is excellent, and they have all the nice little things that make the experience more special-- like palette-cleansing sorbet in between courses. Portions are fairly large for a fine restaurant, making it a fine value. more

Amazing Foothills Location! 11/26/2008

Great brunch. 11/11/2008

This restaurant is in a beautiful location. We take visitors from out of town here for a special meal and a nice Colorado view. They have a good selection on the menu including game entrees that are done very nicely. The brunch is one of the best around. more

Best in Boulder 11/19/2007

The location, staff and food make this the best experience you can have. Our family tries to find an excuse to celebrate in order to go! Owner is always there making sure you are taken care of. Sat/Sun brunch is the best around. Pros: Everything - Romantic Dinners or Family Get-togethers Cons: It isn't free! more

Couldn't be happier! 8/14/2006

We had our wedding reception here and it was awesome. The food was excellant, the wine was amazing, and the service was top notch. The cordinator took care of everything and I was assigned a personal waitperson to get anything I needed. The interior and the grounds were beautiful and I didn't need to decorate at all! They also made our wedding cake and it was to die for! Love the place! PROS: too many to list! CONS: none more

Great place for a wedding or event 11/11/2005

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here and were so impressed with the property, food and service that was provided to us. The view is great--it's nestled right at the base of Colorado's foothills. The only downside is its proximity to HWY 36, which means that you'll get traffic noise outside. The banquet staff is very laid-back and made me feel at ease. They were willing to accommodate special requests at no extra charge--like making signature drinks I created and specially decorating the cake. Overall a great experience. more
