Got my first "fill" for my eyelash extensions from Emily at the Beauty Nook. She was very generous and easy to be with. Her place is a world unto itself with great music and a sweet, relaxed atmosphere. I am very pleased and look forward to the facial I booked on the spot. I recommend The Beauty Nook. more

Painless and fast waxing 5/26/2012

I had my face and arms waxed, 1st time in years. 1st, the wax is nicer- it goes on much thinner and comes off easily. Emily works rapidly, and it took slightly less than 1/2 hr for both. I saw a few hairs that had been missed, and she immediately went back, without any issue. I'll definitely go back! more

Emily is a gem. This is the second time I have visited her for a facial and she never ceases to amaze me. She is very knowledgable about skin and products. She made extremely helpful recommendations to me about products better suited to my skin than what I was currently using. She went above and beyond to to give me a full size sample of a new cleanser to try and I love it. She is fantastic. It is a wonderful and relaxing experience. more

Emily is a total goddess! She isn't just super friendly and awesome but her skills with the wax are on point. The beauty nook is my go to for my Brazilian waxes. Emily is quick, efficient and detail orientated which is so appreciated when we all know waxes are super uncomfortable. The second you lie down you want to get right back up. Stick with my girl Emily and you're in for the most relaxed and painless wax you've ever had! I'm never going anywhere else. Em you have a customer for life:) more

Although I was 10 mins late Emily took me with out any hesitation. She was friendly, professional, and did a wonderful job w/my eyebrows and lip waxing. Emily is the BEST! 4/7/2012

Just saw Emily for my 4th or 5th facial, and am so impressed all over again with how she sets a mood in addition to the unique, top-quality facial she provides. If you feel chatty, she's informative and entertaining. If you want to zone out, she is fine with that. (When I wanted to give 2 friends the best presents possible, I gave them gift certificates for Emily's wonderful facials.) Thank you, Emily!!! more

I went to Emily for my first every brazillian - which is a pretty scary experience regardless of the talent and expertise of the beautician. She was great! Talked me through the whole thing, was super funny and relaxed. Made a - still painful - experience as painless and friendly as possible. I am highly recommending her to my friends! more

What a relief. 3/21/2012

I had never been waxed before, so when I decided to start off with a Brazilian I was nervous. I had no idea what to ask for or what to expect. Emily made me feel totally at ease (which is such a gift in a situation like that.) I was afraid it would hurt a lot but it wasn't bad at all. She was gentle but thorough and made sure to check in with me often making sure I was okay. The space is relaxing and the prices are totally reasonable. I absolutely love the results. I'll be a regular customer. more
