Great Experience 12/12/2012

I have been having Brazilian waxes done for a few years, and Emily was by far the best! I have a pretty low pain threshold and the wax was both over quickly, and as painless as possible. I would highly recommend going to Emily, I know I will be returning for my next wax more

Emily is so good at waxing,never experience pain,redness or anything like that as I had at other places,she is so pleasant and cares about what her customers want. Her place is wonderfully decorated...is calming,cozy and at the same time spacious...I definitely recommend her!! more

I had a wonderful and pleasant experience. It went perfect! I felt very comfortable in the room and the way I was sprayed. The overall look afterwards was just right. The lady looked at me and knew which colors to use. I was not orange at all. I will definitely go back to this salon. more

I've been to Emily several times for waxing. She is professional and nice - a really lovely person. She talks you through the procedure, and keeps your mind off it. I recommend her highly. She does a nice facial also. Always on time and reasonable prices. more

Brow waxing at its best! 11/7/2012

Emily was wonderful- professional, chatty, and did an amazing job on my eyebrows! Atmosphere was also amazing- clean, aesthetically pleasing, and calming retreat. Also A+ on having appointment scheduling available online. I'm definitely going to become a regular! more

Molly Murphy, the lash master at The Beauty Nook, is incredibly proficient and skilled at her lash extension craft. Her application was the quickest and most comfortable I have experienced to date; and the results were phenomenal! My lashes look natural but noticeably gorgeous; I've been getting compliments left and right! Looks like I'll have to give a "thank you" gift to my referrer. :) more

I never tried a Brazilian wax before. I decided to go to the Beauty Nook after positive reviews I read on Yelp. I AM SO GLAD I DID! Emily made me feel comfortable the moment I stepped in the door and while I can't compare to other places, I don't need to try any place else. She was thorough, answered my questions and made me feel so at ease, more like a girlfriend getting together for a good chat. Before I knew it she was done! Great service, I will be coming back! more

I went recently to address 'breakouts' that my skin was having. The service provided by Emily was excellent (as always) & the information imparted on how to eliminate further breakouts was 'spot on'. Moreover the products that she recommended worked like magic. Emily has proven again that she's the BEST there is! Facial by Emily was great 10/20/2012

I've had facials for decades, and this was the best one. The products by Mario Badescu, Emily's skill in her work and her explanation of the process were terrific. And when the mask was on, instead of going away to make calls or clean up, she stayed right there and gave me a head and hand massage. Wow. I'm won over. more
