I've been going to Emily for over a year now. She is super cool and just plain all around nice. I mainly go to her for waxing services- I am Filipino and have bushy eyebrows. I am very particular with how I want them and I love how they always come out! She also did my first ever Brazilian (I was 6 mos pregnant at the time) and the experience was wonderful. She made me feel totally at ease. I definitely recommend The Beauty Nook for any waxing needs! more

Can't say enough-Chiara 3/14/2013

I would recommend Chiara sunless spray tanning services to anyone that wants the beach glow without the damaging effects of the sun. She makes you feel completely comfortable and the studio is gorgeous! Can't really say enough great things about her and her services! more

All were friendly right away. I felt very comfortable. The waiting area was nicely decorated. Molly put me at ease immediately. The time went quickly. The end result are fabulous lashes. Way fabulous! more

A friend referred me to Emily after I told her I was still going to the city for waxing. I was so impressed by the space; bright, clean and stylish. Emily does a fantastic job! Her eyebrow shaping talents are obvious when you see her own. I left with perfect brows and now see her for all my body parts! more

Great eyebrow wax and lovely space! 3/6/2013

This was my first time at the Beauty Nook and I was pleasantly surprised the moment I entered the door. The space is beautifully decorated and oh so chic. The ambience is relaxed and laid back. Emily was absolutely lovely and so sweet.The eyebrow wax was almost painless and she did a fantastic job of shaping them. I had spent a year trying to get the shape she got me to in just 15 minutes! I will definitely be going back. I just found the perfect spot in Marin. more

Best esthetician ever! 2/16/2013

Emily is by far the best esthetician and the brazilian wax I got from her was very quick and I barely experienced any pain! She takes the upmost care of you and makes sure that you are comfortable. I have also had my lashes tinted and eyebrows was, and of course, did a lovely job. Her space is always very clean as well. more

Emily is great with teenagers 1/27/2013

I have taken my daughter to Emily twice now for facials and she's absolutely fabulous with teenagers. She showed her a daily routine, provided samples and over the counter recommendations, as well as stressing the importance of diet. I wish I had someone like Emily when I was a teen! I really enjoy the relaxing and soothing facials, as well. We will definitely be back. more

Chiara did a nice, even spray tan. She was very friendly and answered all my questions. They offer scents to mask the smell, but $4 seemed like a lot when they just put in a few drops. more

Facial Express to the maxima! 1/21/2013

Emily did an amazing job cleaning up my face in a short amount of time, hence the express aspect of this service, which was perfect because I had just come from a haircut and was on my way to dinner after this. I left feeling refreshed and well groomed for a night on the town! more

Amazing!... Just as the other reviews indicate! 1/14/2013

I went on Sunday to have my eyebrows done. I'd never been to the salon and my friend was going to try it out as well. Molly was super nice and of course professional. She did a fantastic job, coming from a picky person who has been infuriated by super thin eyebrow shaping in the past. Molly was perfect! I highly recommend... And I'll be sure to go back for other services too! more

My search for the best Brazilian practitioner is over 1/5/2013

As soon as you step into the Beauty Nook- and see how lovely it is, how much attention to detail Emily has devoted to the decor- you know you're in good hands. I've tried three other well reviewed Brazilian wax practitioners. Either things hurt more than was advertised, the setting seemed unprofessional, the parking was challenging, or I was left with bumps. Not so with Emily. She is careful, quick, super professional, personable, and she cares about beauty. I'll definitely be back. more

Brazilian and eyebrown wax and eyelash tint 1/1/2013

Emily is the best in the business. I highly recommend her. Professional, experienced and so friendly. I am so glad I chose Emily for my first Brazilian wax. I don't know her secret but it wasn't nearly as painful as I expected and she made me feel very comfortable. more

I had a fantastic experience at Beauty Nook. Love my airbrush spray tan. Service was excellent-- Chiara made me feel very comfortable and the room has a fun ambiance! Usually spray tans leave you with that icky smell but she added some fresh perfume to the mix to cover it (only $4). Very worth it! I liked the Bamboo option. more
