This was the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. We went on the 4th of July, as first time visitors to CA. This was the last night of our vacation, and we were looking forward to a nice relaxing seafood dinner, followed by fireworks. NOT! There were so many warning signs that we ignored: a ""special"" menu for the holiday with limited entrees, notices that there was a $25 minimum per person that day, and a note that the restaurant was not responsible for anyone getting ill from their shellfish...SERIOUSLY? Squeezed in, plastic tableclothes, not what I was expecting for our bill that would evidently be over $100 plus tip for our party of 4. But we ordered: while our meal was to include bread and a vegetable (no salad, and no drink refills), after waiting nearly 30 minutes, we still had no bread. I asked the waitress, who said that bread came with the meal. Not wanting to cause her more problems, we said we'd wait. An hour after placing our orders, one dinner arrived, and it was cold. We waited another 10 minutes, and then were told that they were out of what I had ordered. Are you kidding?! Over an hour after it is ordered, and you just find out now? This was so completely unacceptable, I asked to speak to the owner, just knowing that he too would find this unacceptable and strive to ""make things right"". Nothing could be further from the truth! He arrived at our table, took one look at our video camera sitting there (turned off with the lens cap on, as we had been videoing the harbor earlier) and completely FREAKED OUT! He refused to speak to us completely, and stormed off, even though we immediately put the camera away. Needless to say, we were done and left, trying to warn other potential patrons on our way out. This was absolutely the worst restaurant I have ever been to and it needs to be shut down. Cannot stress enough how bad this place it. PLEASE do NOT go there!!! One star rating is too high for this place!
Pros: View if seated outside
Cons: Absolutely everything else!!
