Everyone is so great! I went in feeling horrible not sure what was wrong but left feeling well taken care of and ready to get better! They call the next day to check on you and Dr. Blomquist is so friendly! I have been there many times and will continue to go! more

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND FIRST CHOICE!!!! \r I would give First Choice a Negative 5 stars if it were possible. Doc listened to my lungs and wrote a prescription and a claim to Humana was $995 for the facility, $313 for the doctor. At the time I paid my copay of $125 and $82 in prescription, the final bill came two months later for $744 with a 15% discount if paid in full. They are coded as a Trauma Center hence the huge charges. The service was fine, but not for the price. Walgreens or CVS would have done just right. I was ignorant to the costs that I would incur. I would bypass them altogether and go to Care Now, CVS or Walgreens in the future. They will receive my payment at $5.00 a month for 7 years until the balance is paid in full. This is highway robbery and an indication at how out of hand healthcare has gone. more

My husband developed an acute bout of the flu, and was getting worse by the minute. We made a sudden decision to visit this ER, which neither of us knew anything about.\r \r I was beyond pleasantly surprised. Our total wait time before being called back was 10 minutes. Once we were back, we were greeted with a friendly, professional, knowledgeable staff. They were very thorough with triaging, yet not excessive.\r \r The rooms were immaculate and accommodating. My husband left a different person than when he came in and I owe it all to them.\r \r Words cannot express how happy we are with this entire experience. We especially would like to give an extra ""Thank You"" to Patricia, our nurse. Her warm, caring disposition went a long way in our moment of need.\r more

I was in extreme pain one morning, called First Choice ER to see if there was a wait and there was none, so I headed that way! The receptionist greeted me and had me sign a couple of forms, before I could finish they called me back. The nurse started taking vitals- asking questions, then Dr. Rab met me and examined every possible thing my pain was coming from. They were extremely knowledgeable, quick and concluded my visit all under 30 minutes or less. They took blood, urine and all the tests came back within minutes! Dr. Rab called me the following evening after my visit there to followup and answered additional questions and concerns I had. Now I am on the road to feeling much better! I felt like I was in really good hands there and that I could trust their decisions regarding my health and well being. I would definitely recommend visiting First Choice ER when you are in pain!\r more

Great service! Walked in on a cold wintery day , feeling horrible. We had no power at our house, plugged in my iPad and they saw me in a flash. Was out in less then 30 mins.....didn't even have time to charge my IPAD. I would recommend First Choice to everyone! more

I've been to this facility a few times, and each time I'm seen right away. That's why I always chose First Choice ER because I know I won't have to sit in a waiting for an hour to be seen. Each time I have gone I have been diagnosed properly, and I'm always well within the time frame that doctor says. more

I am a nurse and received excellent, very fast care at this facility. I was on my way to work and needed to see someone quickly. They got me in and treated, and I was able to get to my job on time. I will for sure choose this facility for my next emergency care! more

The staff at First Choice ER was EXCELLENT! When I walked in I was greeted with a warm smile. They took me back within 2 minutes. There were very professional and the best part was I never felt rushed. They listened to my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. I was not feeling my best, but members of the staff even made me laugh a time or two, which made the experience even better. :) \r \r Thank you First Choice ER for making me feel welcome. I highly recommend this great facility. I will now be going there with all my emergency needs! more

My experience with First Choice Emergency Room - Plano this morning was, without a doubt, the best medical experience I've ever had. The staff took their time to explain everything to me, checked on me when I was waiting for tests to ensure my comfort. I was very hesitant for my husband to take me to what I assumed was an urgent care facility when there's a reputable ER/hospital the same distance away. But in my weakened condition, he took me to First Choice ER. I was shocked at how quickly I was taken to a room, seen by an RN, seen by a Dr, received blood results and had another consult with the doctor. That would have never happened at the hospital. I even received a follow-up call by another doctor the next day! Little did I know that First Choice isn't an urgent care facility; they operate like a hospital. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND First Choice ER in Plano. more

I have been a patient at First Choice ER for 3 years and I will continue to make it my first stop in case of medical emergencies. The doctors and staff are extremely accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. \r \r My personal best experience was when I came in for a severe migraine and someone assisted me into the office because I could barely move myself. Also they turned off the lights in my room, examined me with the lowest possible lighting, and dimmed the lightening in the halls and CAT scan area. They let me rest and relax till I felt comfortable enough to be discharged. I can't tell you how much this assistance meant to me since I was sensitive to movement, smell, light and was in extreme pain.\r \r I recently returned for back pain. The staff and medical professionals are always quick, friendly, and compassionate. I highly recommend this ER for urgent medical care because you will be treated like an important person and treated in a timely manner. more
