Our lawn was full of weeds despite our diligent efforts. Our neighbor uses and recommended TLC's crew. The treatments worked quickly, and its been worth the annual cost - no weeds, poana grass, crab grass. They spot spray if needed, and are consistent and diligent. We would recommend. more

We've been using Tender Lawn Care for about four years and have been very impressed with their quality and service. We actually left them to go to a cheaper competitor but that only lasted about two months before we called and reinstated our service. They are not the cheapest but they are very competitive considering the great job they do on our lawn. We've gotten lots of compliments on our lawn and curb appeal of our yard. more

We've been very satistfied with TLC. Our neighbors use them and after battling the weeds for too long, we pulled the trigger. For a resonable price and in a short amount of time our lawn is flawless. They are responsive when I call for spot checks. And those who come to the house knowledgably answer any questions. more

Very Impressed! I hired Tender Lawn Care after having a year of service with a much bigger & well known company. My Bermuda lawn was looking very poorly and dying. Being honest, I wasnt really paying much attention to it, but now I was desparately trying to find out why it was looking horrible. After the 1st treatment with TLC, they informed me via handwritten note, that ""Lawn Aeration"" was apparent, and must be done immediately. Called them up (a real person answered the phone) and actually talked with a polite and patient woman named Julie, who once owned her own lawn business for many yrs whom works there now. We talked for at least 20 minutes, and she informed me of some very important things that I had never realized on warm season grasses like mine (Bermuda / Zoysia). Aeration was the solution to my problem! The thatch was building up and not decomposing properly, suffocating, then killing the grass roots. She stressed how important this process was on grasses such as mine. After the Aeration, and their standard service treatments, my lawn looks terrific. TLC saved my lawn, and saved me money from not having to replace it. The treatment Specialist always writes to tell me anything he (usally John or Wes) finds I need to know, plus with Julie at the office, a phone call away, I feel like I'm in very capable hands. We inherited Tender Lawn Service from the people who lived in our house before us. They gave us a great rate and their service takes care of all our weeds. They couldn't make the grass in the back yard grow, although they tried multiple times for one low price. They are courteous, call before they come, offer us lots of extras at a good price (like aeration), and are recommended by the three lawn cutting services we have had here in 4 years. I figure those guys would know. We are happy with their service and I would recommend them to anyone. In fact, our neighbors switched to them because our lawn looked better than theirs and they really work hard on theirs! Pros: They always call first Cons: Couldn't make some places grow more

I had used these incompetent morons as my lawn service which was a huge mistake. I spent a significant amount of money having an extremely reputable company put in a brand new lawn. For the first 6 weeks the lawn looked great and than it started to turn yellow. I could not understand what the problem was until I learned that Tender Lawn Care had shown up on one of the hottest days of the year and put herbaside on my lawn. It basically destroyed half of the lawn and they refused to own up to their mistake and pay for the grass to be replaced. They are truly a symbol of incompetence and customer no service. Under no circumstances should you ever consider using these clowns.. Pros: There are none Cons: They will ruin your lawn more

We chose tender lawn care because my younger daughter really liked the heart shaped flower on their vans, unfortunately, we have learned that is not a good reason to choose a company. Despite the fact that our lawn has less curb appeal then our neighbors who use another company and the old women who answers tender lawn care's phone has the personallity of a skunk, we continued to use this company. That was until their last service, the man who came out to work on our lawn spent far too much time and attention on my neighbors breasts (who I happen to be talking with) than on taking care of my lawn. I would not recommend Tender Lawn Care to anyone. Normally, I'm very pleased with all the companies I do business with, however I have not been pleased with Tender Lawn Care for several reasons. First, I wasn't pleased with the actual attention to detail of the technicians. They left areas of my lawn untreated, which is very hard to do given how small my lot is. They covered the major sections but did not walk the whole yard which would have taken an extra 2 minutes. Second with the drought I called to cancel service, but they were able to convince me not to cancel based on the persistence that I not cancel. Instead I told them I wanted to halt all future applications until we started to get rain again. Instead they came to my property two more times without consent. At which point I was not pleased and canceled service without listening to their pressure tactics. Now after several months of happily not receiving service I was contacted by a debt collector on behalf of Tender Lawn Care. Needless to say I'm not paying for the two times they came out, but it will be more aggrevation to deal with. So this is my reason for putting this negative post. I hope my circumstance is an annomoly, but I thought I should mention it. Lastly, I've received quotes by several other companies all at lower prices than Tender Lawn Care. Pros: Professional looking van, signage and invoices were consistent. Cons: Incomplete service. A little high on their price. Pressure tactics to keep customers. more
