My idea of the epitome of the TV repairman is founded on the old-school type of guy common 30-40 years ago, but which I thought had probably disappeared. Reading some other reviews I considered bringing my plasma TV to a highly rated Eastside shop even though Teletron is much closer. Anyway, I called Teletron, and the polite and knowledgeable guy I spoke to listened to the symptoms, gave intelligent feedback, and even told me about an on-line coupon they had. I brought the set in, and found a shop staffed by similarly smart and helpful people. 3 days later it was ready, and the total price was less than $100, including the diagnosis fee. They could have easily charged me 3-4X as much, and I still would have been happy. Conscientious, equitable, technically erudite, and fast (I think they had the set for less than 2 business days). Bottom line: pleasant, quick, and totally satisfactory experience.
