Bad Doctor 8/3/2011

Dr Dhwale is in this group. He told me he could only spend 15 minutes with each patient and my time was up even thought I was not done discussing my condition. He said he would only treat me for my blood sugar numbers..not any of the other things that diabetes causes. He is arrogant and rude. I gave him a referral from a nationally known endocrinologist with info about my disease and he said I was not allowed to mention my disease Dercum's Disease to him anymore. I gave him an article from the Endocrinologist Journal that related to my disease and he gave it back and would not read it. I have had scheduling nightmares like the other people on here. more

A Disaster 5/14/2010

I have very low expectations from doctors of today. I understand that there is a diabetes epidemic and that the offices of an endocrinologist are going to be very busy. BUT there are some ridiculous things about this practice. Trying to get your blood results (blood lipids, HA1C, etc) is far too much work. Telephone them. Email them. Repeat once a day for a month and then if you are lucky you will get a 20 second telephone message with the results. Ask a doctor about the rationale behind the use of certain medications? Why bother...You will need to sort through all of the information you can find on the internet and the reference libraries and hope that you can get educated in that way. A good pharmacist might help. This is a knee-jerk assembly line practice and I doubt that there are any better options out there. The practice is run like an amateur hour at a nursery school. It's too bad that the stakes are much higher. Pros: They actually exist Cons: Slow, slip-shod service more

Doctor's misplaced trust 3/10/2010

Dr Tallo?s dangerously delayed diagnosis was due to her not receiving a message regarding symptoms that I had failed to mention during our appointment. She was furious and said, ?Please, if this ever happens again, tell me about it and if you don?t receive a follow-up call, call again.? I later developed a bothersome UTI. I called Dr. Tallo?s office and asked that she prescribe an antibiotic. After no response, I called again and expressed urgency as I was going out of town. Again, no call. I called when I returned and was told that there was no record of my calling. The nurse responsible (I spoke directly to her) denied that I had ever called. I accused her of altering my record to cover her mistake. I was upset but even more upset when Dr. Tallo, after 12 years, droppd me as a patient. As she put it, ?I trust my staff .? After reading the reviews on this site, I can only smile as my response, at the time, was, ?some day this will catch up with you.? Pros: Acts concerned Cons: It's just an act more

UnProfessional 12/21/2009

For one I would agree with alot of these posts and will post more on other forums and diabetes site. I like others have had bad expirences with the staff. Like others I have had problems missing appointments do to work etc. Here is where I beieve the office of Tallo and Assoc is very unprofessional. I recieved a letter stating that I no longer will recieve medical care after 30 days by Tallo and Associates. I missed 2 appointments last year and one this year. Really people I like others have a disease and people miss appointments you still get paid regardless. But to stop medical care for someone is unprofessional very unprofessional. I will seek other medical care and I will tell others about my experience. I hope others chose a different doctors office. Pros: anderson Cons: staff and rules more

Not Helpful 11/24/2009

Glad the doc did testing but wasn't happy that he didn't know what to do with me. All test indicate pituitary issues but it seems this office only deals with pcos, diabetes, and thyroid issues. Anything out of the norm, so elsewhere. Nursing staff very rude!!!!! Pros: I had an easy time getting appt w/ Kroustos Cons: Doc wasn't willing to test, didn't know what to do with me more

Wonderful MD 11/22/2009

Have had issues with seizures, low blood sugar and low blood pressure. Very thorough in labs to determine physiological deficiencies and evaluation to determine cause. She called me on Sunday to review diagnosis. I think she is beyond fabulous, caring. Yeah, I waited 20 minutes in the waiting room. But what doctor do you go to that can stay on a schedule perfectly? She has great bedside manners and I would reccomend her to anyone. Very open to your input. Pros: Really got into my issues more

Choose wisely 11/15/2009

I have no problem with Dr. Anderson. He was a kind doctor. However, the office staff is not only disorganized, but they are very rude. Working full-time with three kids, I'm busy. It was very challenging to get an appointment and the office staff was never pleasent to deal with. I do miss Dr. Anderson, but I don't miss going in there at all. I have found a better doctor, but of internal medicine. They can do for me what Dr. Anderson was doing. If you can deal with the office attitude and their tight schedules, I would recommend Dr. Anderson. For me it just wasn't worth it. Pros: Dr Anderson was kind Cons: Horrible Office Staff more

Tallo is a quack! 1/26/2009

I was referred by a wonderful gynecologist but was seriously disappointed! It took forever to get an appointment but when I finally got in I was treated like I was invisible! I waited about 20 minutes in the waiting room (even though I arrived about 15 minutes before my appointment) and Dr Tallo came in for about 5 minutes. She said I'll be right back and didn't come back for 45 minutes! I heard the receptionist on the phone while I was waiting for Tallo to return and they had lost the record my gyno had sent over, then I could hear Tallo in the other room with ANOTHER PATIENT! She did his full exam while I sat and waited. I know I was there before him, yet I waited? I was furious and almost left but I needed labs done and then I was told I had to go to another office to do that! So ridiculous! Thank God I had insurance but I still hated to write out that $22 check for her... My advice: FIND A DIFFERENT DOCTOR! Cons: EVERYTHING! more

Worst Practice in the World 10/22/2008

Not only is the office a complete disorganized catastrophe, one of the associates, Dr. Caliguiri shouldn't have a license to practice. My wife just got out of the hospital. She was seeing Caliguiri for two months. She told Caliguiri not once, not twice, but three times to check her gallbladder. Caliguiri said she didn't think it was the problem so she wouldn't check. She had pain when she ate food. On top of all that we NEVER go a call back! My wife lost 30 lbs. because it was too painful to eat! We ended up going to the EMERGENCY room and spent a week in the hospital and finally got her gallbladder removed. Our sergeon couldn't understand the delay in checking the gallbladder. Web MD was more helpful than Tallo & Associates... Cons: Incompetence more

Poor comunication skills 3/4/2008

I really did not like the way the receptionists treated me when I had to change my appt due to a death in the family and i explained this to them the were very rude to me and acted as if it was wrong of me to change my appt I changed doctors because of this also the phone system is very disorganized Dr.Anderson is great though very friendly and and compassionate treats you like a person not a patient more

PHONE SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK 2/8/2008

Pros: I saw the ratings and am going elsewhere Cons: The Phone System is disfunctional more

The MD's Are Very Good But The Practice Is Disorganized 10/7/2007

.I've used 3 of the physicians in this group practice: Drs. Anderson, Caligiuri, and Deep, As well as their PA Carrie Meyer. All are excellent in their own speciality, but the practice is so disorganized (e.g., getting through their misfunctioning phone system, making an appointment, getting lab results) that it gives new meaning to the word chaos. Again, each professional is excellent, but the practice needs to undergo a big reorganization so that it will work better for both the patient and the physicians. Pros: Excellent MD's Cons: Disorganized office, broken phone system, $2 parking (when available) more

nina deep 6/27/2007

She may be a great doctor, but I would never use her services, because her TV commercials scare the hell out of me. This woman has issues with her bulging eyes. Like I said she scares the .... out of me. more

Dr. Deep is good but the practice is BAD 10/30/2006

I love Dr. Deep. She is a very caring and compassionate lady. She spends plenty of one-on-one time with each patient. She truly cares. The only problem is that she only works part-time and the office is completely inaccessible. It's impossible to get anything you need the same day. You always have to call a second time and you may as well forget about getting a prescription refill over the phone. Test results are rarely called the patient, even if they're negative. I always had to call to find out my results - even when additional treatment is necessary. Like I said, Dr. Deep is WONDERFUL when you get her to yourself. The practice is horrible and very unhelpful. It's the trade-off. Whatever you can take. Pros: Dr. Deep is wonderful and compassionate Cons: Office staff are unhelpful and unresponsive! more

Dr. Deep is great! She is really easy to talk to you and makes you feel really comfortable. I recently moved out of state and have not found another dr that I like better! more

Excellent Dr. 10/16/2005

Dr. Deep listens to you and spends as much time with you as you need. She is very intelligent and caring. I finally found a really good Dr. Cons: Pay for parking more

Experience with Dr. Deep 9/19/2005

Sends me to other doctors, who ask why she is not taking care of those aspects of my care for me, as they say she should. Waste of eeryones time and money. more
