Tried to get us to do a 30K service that included a bunch of stuff not even recommended by Hyundai on their official mainteance site. Would have cost 4 times as much as the recommended service. Stay away! more

Fraud, poor service and lack of customer care 8/20/2013

I am beyond disappointed,in fact,I am rather disgusted by the incredibly poor service and fraud that occurred during my last service experience. Not only was the car returned to us with oil on the inside of the door, console and steering wheel, we were also told that the tires were rotated when they were not. We were, however, charged $19.95 for this service even though the work was not done. My husband previously owned an oil change facility and checked the tread on the tires when we got home to discover that they were not rotated. Additionally the washer fluid was not topped off and the sticky passenger door handle was not fixed as we were told there was no problem. Upon returning to the service center to get the tires rotated, the person in charge apologized but then told us that the staff were overworked and underpaid. We were also told we could only get a store credit for our $19.95 charge and if we wanted a check it would take at least a week to issue the refund. To add insult to injury, we waited almost 2 HOURS for the tires to be rotated and when we picked up the car, the washer fluid was still empty and there was more oil on the inside of the door. We asked to be contacted by the service manager but we have never received a return phone call from him. Telling us our tires were rotated when they weren't is fraud. The incredibly poor service only added insult to our injury. I will never recommend this center and am extremely displeased with the service. Do yourself a favor and buy your car from this dealership but get it serviced somewhere else. more

Consistently Excellent Service 8/17/2013

I always bring my cars to Fairfax Hyundai whenever we have a problem. The service advisors are always fast, friendly, and honest. The work is done quickly, and most importantly, it is done well! Not too mention they always run my car through the car wash. I'll be coming back here for years! Thank you Fairfax Hyundai! more


Great place for service. 8/17/2013

I bought my Santa Fe 4 years ago from this dealer and have been having service since then. They are very efficient in scheduling and actual service with reasonable chage. Josh at the service desk is the great guy, pleasant and through in explaining and accomodating customer needs. Although I live in Maryland I am gladly going to use this place as long as I own this car. more

The service department at Fairfax Hyundai is excellent. Always courteous, always reminds me of recommended services based on my mileage but never pushy, good prices for a dealership and definitely worth paying the dealership premium to know it will be done right with no funny business. There is another dealership 20 minutes from my work yet I take my car to Fairfax, which is over an hour away, because their service is so much better that its competitor. more

Service Advisor - slow 7/31/2013

When dropping off car for service took over a half hour and again took so long to have car delivered to me when I arrived to pick up car. They need more service advisors at this dealership for the service volume they have here. Also, there parking for service is horrible. Not enough spaces. more

The worst service experience ever 7/31/2013

Dealership charged $240 for an oil change and emissions inspection, took 3 hours to complete this service, and then ran my clean car through their car wash and didn't dry it making it dirtier than when I brought it in. I will never return to this horrible place. Unfortunately, the system won't let me give it the proper rating of zero stars. more
