My wife and I took private dance lessons at TC Dance Club to prepare for the first dance at our wedding. They are SUPER affordable and have great instructors. We were able to learn a few basic steps in just 5-6 lessons. My wife enjoyed the experience and we are now taking lessons just for fun! Highly recommended! more

I finally made time for myself to learn a partner dance which I had been thinking about doing forever. I found TC Dance Club through a friend's recommendation. There are so, so many wonderful things about this studio. The evening receptionists and office manager are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The instructors (I've taken swing and salsa) are professionally accomplished, technique oriented, approachable, fun, and a host of other positive things. They consistently turn out dancers who go on to really love their respective dances, are seen on the social floors around the city, and perform/compete. I highly recommend them. more

My fiancee was nervous about learning to dance for our wedding, and the instructor at TC Dance Club put him right at ease. The lesson was smooth and easy, and we were able to learn a dance that looked professional and comfortable in just two lessons. Great Staff & no Pressure sales: I went to TC Dance Club loved everything about it. The staff is made up of great Pro Dancers & there is never sale pressure & on top of that what nice people. They are not like the other schools I've been to where it is just sales,sales, sales....They let you learn the dances that you want to learn, they don't pressure you to do anything, & man they can teach.....Give them a try it will change your life...We've been there for years! more

TC Dance Clubs is the best dance studio. I've been to a lot of them and found that TC Dance teaches you more and you have better experiences than any of the other places I've been. I've taken quite a few lessons from them and it's been great! Their parties are very unique too. The teachers were all so friendly and made learning easy and fun! Can't dance? Neither could I! My husband and I walked into TC Dance Club with no experience, and the teachers were excellent. They have a fantastic staff with tons of experience and they'll have you dancing before you know it. Not only are the teachers fantastic, but the other students are great and you'll quickly make new friends. So whether you've seen "Dancing with the Stars" and want to be like them, or if you just want to feel more comfortable on the dance floor this is the place to be. I'd recommend them to everyone (and frequently do!)! So if you are reading this because you are thinking about signing up for classes, then stop thinking and go for it! I started taking lessons at TC Dance Club in April, after I agreed with a certain someone that I would try anything once. Well, after figuring I would absolutely hate it, come to find out I actually like it and have continued taking lessons there for over 8 months now. I have learned a lot about dancing and can actually see myself getting better and remembering steps from week to week. The teachers are all fun to be around and learn from. The parties are fun and you get to learn your steps in a "real" environment with other people. You won't die of embarrassment and you might actually have fun. Try bringing your girlfriend/wife here and they will definitely be digging it! more

I love TC Dance Club ! The instructors are great, friendly and very hands-on even in large groups in some of the beginning classes. They have some special events that they are wonderful. The price per class is reasonable because you get plenty of instruction and then dance floor time to try the moves you learned and watch more experienced dancers. We took private lessons here for preparation of our wedding. Kudos to the instructors! My wife and I learned how to dance! The instructor was very patient, nice and friendly. We had a great time learning from great dance teachers. Everyone at our wedding was so impressed that they asked us where we learned. We recommended several of our friends and relatives. more

If you're a guy looking for a new hobby this is something you do not need to bring a girl to come with you to learn how to dance. It's social dancing! Everyone is pretty friendly. You can dance with women of all ages! It's fun and exciting and at some point they were all beginners too! The people at TC Dance Club are great and many of the dancers travel across the United States to dance. Some even around the world! It's one big happy family. The owners of this studio are super sweet and will make sure that you feel welcome. Definitely a place to try! more

The people at TC Dance Club are by far the sweetest and kindest you will ever meet. Everyone is approachable. This is a fantastic place to come no matter what your skill level is. If you're a beginner, the more advanced dancers will be extremely patient with you and are often willing to work with you on technique or perfecting a step you're having trouble with. If you're an advanced dancer, you're probably coming here already. The music is a great mix, with a ton of faster, more modern songs. They throw in a few two steps and the occasional foxtrot or tango every now and then to shake things up. Fabulous! Highly recommended! more

I don't think I could say enough good things about TC Dance Club. I gave it a shot and was thoroughly impressed. I've been taking lessons there and the instructors are knowledegeable, patient, and personable. I particularly like their Monday classes the best.I also go for social dancing, when every dancer imaginable is there. more

I just wanted to write a short review to let people know how much I enjoy dancing at TC Dance Club and how appalled I am to see any negative reviews. This place is the best place for dance in the city...and I know because I've been to them all. Most of the places around me are just independent instructors with little to no formal training trying to get $ out of people but NOT TC Dance...their instructors actually work for the company you take lessons at and are trained by not just the studio but also Championship instructors from all over America. TC Dance also is very good at working with students on a tight budget and offers a lot for the $ you pay. I enjoy that I know that I'm not going to be nickled and dimed every time I go there. Whether I go for a private lesson, group class, or party it's all included in what I've paid. more

I don't usually like to say anything negative about a person or business, but in this case I feel compelled to. I used to be a student at TC, have since moved on to better studios, and have kept in close contact with many of the students there. I hear from them that things are as bad, if not worse, than what they were when I attended. Apparently TC is even under investigation for the way they treat their teachers and students! The standard of dance at TC is incredibly low compared to other studios in the area. Ask around, and you will find that many of their teachers have been dancing for less than a couple of years. Those that have been dancing longer don't really look it. Everyone I meet someone who's taking lessons at TC Dance, they can't wait to run out of lessons and leave. Most are unfortunately still stuck there for a while seeing as they were required to pay for bunches (even hundreds) of lessons up front (at $86 per 40 minute lesson)! The studio where I currently attend charges less money for a longer lesson, and I probably learned more in a couple of lessons with my new teacher than I ever learned in all of my lessons at TC! Anyway, I just wanted to put a warning out there to everyone. Please make sure you shop around before you buy a single package from TC Dance! more

Tc Dance club is absolutely infamous in the dance community. They are literally under investigation because of their unethical business practices toward their instructors and their clients. TC is infamous. They are not dance teachers, they are sales people. The training program for teachers at TC is a hardcore boot camp involving high pressure sales techniques, all taking place in a small room on the left side of the facility. I am not kidding. They are not certified dance teachers. About 4 years ago TC was featured on the news because they denied an old woman a refund for her 20 lesson package, which cost just under $2000, despite the fact that she had been injured and could no longer dance. The sales technique that they employ is highly strategic, they will literally try to squeeze every dime they can out of within the first 2 months of your involvement. If they think you have the money they will push you to buy programs that cost nearly $20,000 dollars. I am not kidding. After this procedure has taken place they will pass you onto "the back department," which supposedly is inhabited by "advanced instructors." which is in fact inhabited by the worse dancers, and people with lesser people skills and sales ability. TC Dance is an absolute scam, they are well known for selling products they have no intention to provide. I know people that have invested 50,000 dollars and much more and have literally been told that even though they have 150 lessons purchased and still unused, they cannot learn any new material because "its not in your program." Please do yourself a favor. Read all the reviews. See what you think. more

I have tried TC Dance recently and to say to least, the place is absolutely wonderful. The facility is well maintained and I really feel like they know what they are doing, I love to dance and I know it is going to take me a while to really learn but right now I am having a great time. My instructor Mitch is perfect, makes me fell good about my progress and keeps me active all the time, group classes, parties and of course he wants me at lessons with him. TC Dance has so much to offer and there is something there for me all the time. more

Neither of us had ever danced before (other than your standard prom-style slow dancing she'd drag me into at weddings), but the instructors there were friendly, patient, and somehow found the balance between not throwing us in over our heads, while challenging us to improve. I got the 4 lesson package deal they offer on discount as the gift for my wife, thinking that we'd take a couple lessons, she'd have her fun, and we'd be done with it (I never did care much for dancing), but I actually found myself enjoying dancing!!! Never thought that could happen, but it did! Our instructors were phenomenal, really knew what they were doing, and even the managers/owners came over and introduced themselves and took time to chat with us! We began getting to know other 'regular' students that we'd see each time we come in, and actually struck up some friendships! The parties they have every Friday night are a blast! Me and my wife get to dance with each other and practice what we've learned, and the instructors always make sure to ask us for dances and show us new moves!||[]After our first four lessons were over, they showed us the 'next step', which WAS quite a bit more expensive than we were expecting, but they were able to adjust things to meet our budgeting needs, and they were really nice and friendly throughout the process! We look forward to our 'dancing date night' every week, and the Friday night parties are now penciled in on our calendar!||[]||[]If you, your wife, or your friend, have ever wanted to learn to dance, TC Dance Club is the place to go! I have read where TC Dance Club is expensive but I don't agree for what I get. Each week I go to private lessons, group classes and parties every Friday and I don't even pay for the drinks, all part of my membership. I think the teaching is great and the teachers are really fun and I enjoy being there. In the beginning my lessons were 30-35 minutes since they were finding out about what I wanted...now the lessons are 40 minutes and my instructor really makes the most of the time...I am really worn out at the end of each lesson. I like TC for the dancing, the socializing, the exercise and the challege. Thanks TC. more
