Review content:
I don't usually like to say anything negative about a person or business, but in this case I feel compelled to. I used to be a student at TC, have since moved on to better studios, and have kept in close contact with many of the students there. I hear from them that things are as bad, if not worse, than what they were when I attended. Apparently TC is even under investigation for the way they treat their teachers and students!
The standard of dance at TC is incredibly low compared to other studios in the area. Ask around, and you will find that many of their teachers have been dancing for less than a couple of years. Those that have been dancing longer don't really look it. Everyone I meet someone who's taking lessons at TC Dance, they can't wait to run out of lessons and leave. Most are unfortunately still stuck there for a while seeing as they were required to pay for bunches (even hundreds) of lessons up front (at $86 per 40 minute lesson)!
The studio where I currently attend charges less money for a longer lesson, and I probably learned more in a couple of lessons with my new teacher than I ever learned in all of my lessons at TC!
Anyway, I just wanted to put a warning out there to everyone. Please make sure you shop around before you buy a single package from TC Dance!
