You should stay as far away as possible from this company. They are very unprofessional and lack any sort of customer service you would expect from a business. I had a few direct dealings with Cori the manager and I could have not been more disappointed in the interaction. As I mentioned you would do yourself a favor to pass right on by this horrible company. more

I tried to schedule several appointments with this company and they could just not work it out. They seemed to be inconvenienced by my calls and requests. I was in the lobby and could hear this older man in the back somewhat yelling at a young girl. My guess was he was the owner of the business. I ended up renting from Country Properties. They were more on it. more

Best to stay as far away as possible. The application process is daunting and grueling. They asked for tons of stuff. I believe that they just ran me around thinking I would just wonder off. If you need housing I would look elsewhere. more

I gave them a good review in the past but must change it now. They were good at first but as time went on they got worse. My tenants trashed the place and I had to hire an attorney to get them out. Might just sell the house so I don't get screwed again. I trusted them and they left me high and dry........ more

Can't stand these people. They took my management fee and literary did absolutely nothing. Let my tenants do whatever. Lost lots of rent and had huge damages. Stay away from Swift Properties they will rip you off. more

I've been in one of their properties for about 3 weeks, and when I chose the house, it was specified that pets would be considered. I told them that I was planning on adopting a dog soon, and also told them that me choosing the house was on the terms that I could have a dog. They said they confirmed with the owner, and it was all good as long as I informed them when the time came. Imagine my surprise when the local pet adoption shelter call them up to confirm I was allowed to have a dog in my rental property. Nope, not this dog! They had the audacity to turn around and tell me that only "non-aggressive" breeds would be allowed. Nowhere along the way did anyone mention a breed specific policy. \r \r This was just down right dishonesty by way of omission. Now I'm wondering what else they're gonna hit me with. The sooner I find a house to buy the better. I just hate the thoughts that I'm giving money to these liars. more

I wanted to take a moment to mention that I have had a good experience with regards to my business dealings with Swift. I have a rental that they look after as I live out of town. Swift has been looking after it for three years now. I have been impressed with their ability to keep it rented. They have also helped to cut my maintenance bills in ½. I would recommend them to a family member or friend more

Please beware. This company comes off as really great and customer service oriented. No way! They really do nothing, but collect your rent. Unfortunately they don't even know what is in their contract, let alone their responsibility to their landlords. The reason I went to a property management firm was because I didn't want to have to deal with the headache of dealing with tenants and maintenance. Every year I had to remind Swift to ask the tenant about re-signing a lease. They never inspected the property, and when they had viewings of the property they randomly let neighbors in to snoop around. I wish I could recommend them, but really I could have done exactly what they did with a lot less headache and without their commission taken out of the rent. more

I rented from swift when i first move to town. Only need 2 bedroom apartment. Then met someone with child and needed 3 bedroom. had 2 apartments then finally moved to house. They helpful all three times. Move made easy. Easy to get deposit back. Like the house in now. Will rent form Swift Properties again if I need to move in future.\r \r Mom has three rentals with Swift she likes them. They take good care of her. If I can buy rental in future will have Swift take over care of houses. more

Here's the deal, I just took 5 minutes out of my day to sign up to insider pages just to review Swift. I don't like wasting my time and for this purpose, I don't feel I am. So far I've been with swift going on a year now. Up to this point they have been kind, courteous, and prompt. Brian who shows the homes was always enjoyable and helpful in finding our rental in the first place. I've had to make about 5 or 6 phones calls to Swift in regards to problems that we've had in our home and they have called us back immediately and had someone at our door to fix the problem that day or the very next. I've seen some pretty harsh reviews from people about Swift, I can't speak for those people, everyone has their own experience and perspective, but after reading some of the trash talk on other sites I took my time to thank Swift for their wonderful service by writing this review. \r \r If you're looking to rent in redding, these guys are on the ball. more

Words cannot express how unbelievably confident I am in Swift Management. They not only were prompt, responsible, and reliable, but were extremely personal and friendly during the entire process. My husband and I moved to Redding from Denver. We were looking for a clean and safe area, in a good school district, amongst other things... and Swift P. Management found the perfect place for our family. They were willing to work hard until we were happy. I will use them again with no hesitation and would recommend their company to any of my close friends and family! more

I just read the review below and had to take a moment to write a review as well. I have 7 rentals with Swift and have been using them for the past 8 years. In December, I scheduled an inspection with Swift to view each of my properties. They arranged an agent to walk through each unit while I was present. We walked each unit and all of them looked great. I believe that some owners believe that a property manager removes them from ever having to invest money in to their properties. That the tenants deposit is always going to cover the damages. Some tenants do create more damage then the deposit and we as owners must cover the difference to bring the home in to rent ready condition. In the past eight years I have had over 10 move outs. They all have been handled to my satisfaction. I'm currently looking for more rentals as now is the time to buy and Swift has done a great job for me and made the managing of my investments a smooth process. I have recommended Swift Properties to several more

First off I am only giving one star because I HAVE to!! I am an owner that used Swift Properties services. I am so darn upset right now I could puke!!! I bought a house as a rental and had Swift rent it out. They rented it quickly however when these tenants moves out they did their walk thru just as quickly. I assumed a rental property management business would rent a house out and when the tenants moved out they would use the tenants deposit to make sure the house looked just as it did when the tenant moved in. Not in my situation!!!! The tenant moved out and was charged for minimal fixes. The tenant was returned their deposit and when the new tenants moved in I was contacted to pay for several fixes!!! Toilets werent working, lights didn't work there were holes in walls broken windows and missing closet doors, and blinds!! This house was in perfect condition when I left it in Swifts hands. Now I'm being told I have to pay loads of money to fix these things. There's no reason I should more

I have rentals was Swift and I have rented from Swift. They are very professional on both sides of their offered services. I have considered buying more investment properties because Swift makes it so easy to own them. One thing I like about Swift is that I can always reach them. I was renting a property and the owner was letting it go back to the bank. I only had 12 days to find a place to rent and be all moved in. Swift got my family approved and we were moving in just a few days later. The staff was so helpfull.
