DON'T DO IT! 8/22/2011

Over the past few years, their service has declined as their portfolio grows. Each time I call I get a new person on the phone. I never get the same answer twice when I call and am contanstantly told that my emails and phone messages were not received. Having worked with Swift for the past few years, I would not recommend them. I am currently searching for a new property manager. more

I rented a home recently from Swift Properties and it was clean and comfortable. The price was good and they made the process quick and painless. I have had to place two service calls and both were handled quickly. Thanks Swift........ more

Horrible service, worst in redding!! 3/11/2011

Horrible! Their service for tenants is a joke, I was lucky enough to meet the owner of my rental and anytime we had a problem we would call Swift and then 2 hours after no call back we would call the owner and he would come fix it. They have tried to charge us extra money for made up reasons and blame it on our owner saying he wants money for something but then I would call the owner and he would have to call them, he is canceling his contract with them and we are moving....they SUCK, plain and simple. It seems as though they'd do anything to keep the owners happy, even lie to them about what they are doing to the tenants! If you are looking to rent, look somewhere else....if you are wanting to rent out your home to a company that can keep it rented to a nice family/person, go to them but your tenants won't stay long...I put up with them for too long! more

BEWARE!!! 2/21/2011

In their haste to turn the property over and get it rented again. They rented me a filthy, cockroach infested property. There is no way in the world they didn't know about the cockroach problem. But of course they would deny it, Duh? When I finally moved in and figured out what the problem was. I immediately brought it to their attention. Their response was to do nothing! They sat on their hands, they just blew it off! So far I have spent over $300 and at least 3 months trying to rid their rental property of cockroaches. They also would not reimburse me anything for my out of pocket expense. I've never dealt with Swift Properties before and I have no axe to grind with them. I'm not making any of this up. This is exactly what happened. This has been my experience with them. They can deny it all they want and I'm sure they will.\r \r As I stated (above) in my original review of Swift. My wife and I have been using Swift Properties to manager our rental property in Redding for the past couple of years and they have been absolutely wonderful to deal with. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of a property management firm that conducts business in a very thorough and professional manner; their services are very reasonably priced as well. more

I am a rental property owner and have been very satisfied with the performance of Swift Properties. They have done an excellent job of keeping my property rented with good renters. \r \r I was using another property management company before moving to Swift. There is no comparison in the services provided. Swift is a top notch company and I would highly recommend their services. more

From the initial contact, through the whole process of coming out to look at our property and the follow-up service everything has been super. The staff is friendly, approachable, competent and professional in working with everyone. I feel well represented by Swift, as I am no longer in the area. more

Awful customer service! Treat tenants like their dirtbags and just keep adding up the fees. Even when your a good tenet and pay your bills they still treat you like crap. HORRIBLE Dont rent from them more

Great Service 6/4/2010

I was very shocked to see all the negative comments about Swift Properties, I have had them for along time now and I have not had one problem with them, as a owner I think they do a great job, they are quick on responding and I think they work hard finding a tenant for us and if there were problems, it was always resolved right away....I would recommend them to anyone... more

They do well for me! 3/8/2010

I have used three other property managers in the Redding area and have been disappointed. I have used Swift for the last 1.5 years and have only good things to say. The one great thing about them is they don't close for lunch and every small holiday. My last property manager was closed for lunch and every holiday. They also show properties to tenants on Saturdays. The last three didn't show on weekends at all. Like I said they have done a great job for me. I have 4 properties with them. more
