I'm a huge fan of sushi (see my review for Sushi Go 55); however, last night all I wanted was Tempura Udon. Once I saw their menu, I decided to try a Spider roll. They definitely had some very tasty sounding rolls. My husband stuck with sashimi, he did however diverge a little by ordering the Garlic Tuna Sashimi. I should mention we sat at the sushi bar. I like to see the chef's in action. My husband's Hamachi (yellowtail) sashimi and Garlic Tuna sashimi arrived almost instantaneously. Good. But that's where ""good"" ended. Asked what he thought of the sashimi, he said ""Tasteless."" Good sushi has taste. The fish is not meant to be a carrier for wasabi and sauces. As I watched our chef prepare my Spider roll I started to suspect something was not right when he unceremoniously squirted about a quarter of his unagi sauce bottle all over my roll! When it was plopped down in front of me, ugh.... yuk, it was drowning in sauce. For good reason too. To hide the taste of the crab! How do I say this? It was bad. One bite and I put it aside. The roll was also enormous, a normal Spider roll you should be able to pop a whole piece in your mouth (sushi is meant to be bite-sized NOT something massive that falls apart when you try to eat it). To eat the roll, I had to dismantle it and just eat the content. The taste was so sickenly sweet from all the sauce, I stopped eating that too after 1 piece.
Pros: pretty waitresses, good sake list
Cons: food, music, t.v, parking, LOUD
