DO NOT USE THIS SHOP THEY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND FOR 2 MONTHS TOOK MY TRANSMISSION TWICE AND STILL WASNT FIXED RIGHT STILL JERKING AND PAID $2000 FOR THIS REPAIR AND WASNT EVEN WORTH THE TIME OR WAIT PLUS THEY SAID TOMORROW IT WOULD GET DONE AND TOMORROW NEVER CAME NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL I EVEN GOT A 3 YEAR WARRANTY BUT DONT EVEN WANT TO GO TROUGH THE HEADACHE AGAIN more

Save yourself tons of headache. Avoid this dishonest and inept little shop. They can't seem to get anything right. This place is a joke! The transmission was junk. Ruined over $100 worth of tranny fluid in a few weeks. Dies when in reverse, smokes...Called them and they said they would swap it out in three days. IT HAS BEEN OVER TWO WEEKS and they have a new excuse every day for why it hasn't been taken care of yet. First the truck broke down, then the builder was out (after they had told us ours was ready) then they said it was on it's way and the driver would call us when he was close. We waited all day and he never showed up, they told us it was still at the shop! Several times they said he was on his way only for us to find out that ours had never been put on the truck! They are liars! They have no intention of ever delivering our transmission! DO NOT GET DUPED BY THESE JERKS! more

My ""rebuilt"" transmission leaks out of the tail and through the gasket. They did't replace the rear seal! Was told I had purchased a 1800-2000 stall converter but they gave me a stock one and charged me $200 when I didn't need a stock converter. They still haven't returned my call about the stall converter issue. They forgot my transmission mount and told me it was out for delivery but I ended up waiting 3 days! I called them and was told to go buy the mount at AutoZone and that they are not a pizza joint, it will get there when it gets there."" then he hung up on me. They charge 9.75% sales tax when Ca tax rate is only 7.75%. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE CRAP & ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR $$$ THEY WONT HELP YOU AT ALL! THESE YOUNG GUYS DO NOT KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS! BUYER BEWARE!!! F RATING!!! more

If it would let me it would be no stars! This place is the biggest rip off I ever had to encounter. At first it seemd like a great deal, good price and they even delievered the transmissions. To start they sent the wrong transmission, so after already having my 2001 Ford Ranger truck sitting in the drive way for a week we had to wait a few more days for them to come and pick my original tansmission, take it back to their shop 2 hours away, ""re-build"" it, and bring it back to us. Now this was going on 2 weeks of torture! After having it delievered our mechanic put our supposive original transmission back into the truck only to find out they gave us a 2003 transmission. Obvisouly they thought they were going to scam us but to bad they are not even smart enough to do that because Ford Ranger transmissions were completely changed after 2002. Now we have called them to confront them and they are trying to blam it on our mechanic, who has worked with our family for awhile now and worked on thr truck in our own backyard. The conversation ended with the mangaer of ""SUPER SHOPS"" saying f**** you and hanging up on me. So you decide if you would like to give your buissness to this lovely place. more

It's been over 2 months since super shops shipped our family the wrong transmission and no one who works there has the decency to actually do anything about it. more

Great customer service! Happy First time there; was acknowledged by the cashier on the services desk with a happy and friendly attitude. Customer rep had lots of information on my trans. They offered free delivery. more

I contacted Super Shops Automotive for transmission on 7/22/2011 I talked to Steven he took my order and told me delivery would be Sunday 7/24/2011 no delivery made. On Monday 7/25 I called no answer I call every day the entire week M,T,W,T,F on Saturday they called me and left a message saying if I wanted the trans they had a delivery for the bay area on Tuesday 8/2 on Monday I called them back and talked to Steven again he had no concern at all for the run around and lack service I had got up to this point. He offered nothing. He told me he needs to find the invoice and would call me back. He did not call me back so I called them talked to someone who tells me they can deliver it Friday 8/5. This company could care less about the customer and I recomend nobody use them for anything if this is how they do business I can only imagine the type of shotey work they do on a transmission they the worst I have ever delt with. more

Very Honest and Reliable. Had My Ford Explorer rebuilt at Super Shops and they did a great job. They did everything they said they would do, was done on time. Very pleasant to work with. As a woman I get scared to take on such a project. Super Shops was recommended to me and I will recommend them to anyone. more

They were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Their pricing was very competitive. I would definitely go back, and already have plans to get another transmission rebuilt with them! more

Purchased a Super Trans transmission from Super Shops. Was promised delivery in 2 days. In reality it took 2 weeks to receive it. Installed transmission, contacted store to send back core transmission. They never picked up the core, and held my core charge. After 5 months of driving on new transmission, aprox. 5k miles. Transmission began shifting real hard, and making a howling noise. Contacted Super Shops regarding warranty, was told trans was being sent out for the last 5 weeks. I call nearly every day and get either no answer, or a story about the delivery car is broken. I have been on the phone with Gilbert the manager no less than 20 times regarding this issue. Still nothing. There service is terrible. Stay away!!! more

I purchased BMW with really nice wheels. When it was time to get new tires i shopped around and picked Super Shops. I was amazed how gentle the tire installer was with my wheels no scratches or dings great job !!!!!!! more

I purchased a 700r4 trans from super shops with a torque converter ( supposedly rebuilt) the torque converter was supposed to be a 2500 stall ( it wasn;t it was a cheaper one 1800-2000 stall and the trans was a peice of junk not rebuilt ( i think they sold me one of their used cores) the trans would not shift right so I took it to a local shop ( I watched them take it out and apart) it was not rebuilt and even had parts that did not belong in a 700r4. I confronted super shops ( gilbert morales) and he said I did not bring it back to them for a warrenty claim and I was out of luck. I dont think a used junk trans is a warrenty issue ( so I may be filing a fraud case against them) I returned the wrong torque converter and was told I would get a refund check in 5-10 days this has not happened either DO NOT TRUST THEM WHATSOEVER!!!!!!!! ( I have proof of what I claim )if you have had the same problem start by calling the burea of consumer affairs and auto repair at 1 800 952 5210 more
