Bad review for a bad florist. You see all those good reviews above, don't a lot of them look similar? I suspect.......well you know what i suspect. The service i got was poor!! They did deliver the flowers, i will give them that. But not as ordered. My complaint was handled rudely and i was left very unhappy. I DO NOT RECOMMEND sunshine florist. more

Loved Sunshine florist !! My boyfriend is a firefighter that works 48 hours straight and had flowers delivered to me at work. As soon as the delivery boy handed me flowers, I started to cry it was so beautiful!!. I decided to stop into the shop and tell them i was so happy !!! & She gave me a free voucher to order flowers on the house any time!!! I LOVE SUNSHINE FLORIST :) more

Thoughtful and customer service-driven,Sunshine Florist exceeded all of my expectations. I currently work in Vietnam and worried that finding and delivering flowers to my girlfriend in Gainesville would be a risky gamble without seeing the flowers in person. With a simple call to their shop, I was greeted by Hannah, who was not only patient with my lack of flower acumen, but extremely helpful in describing and ultimately helping me pick the perfect bouquet for the birthday girl. Additionally, their website is absolutely user-centric and makes ordering flowers online, even half-way across the world, easy if not enjoyable. They were even kind enough to offer free chocolates with my order. In short, I can talk on and on about their customer service and how great of a process it was to order from them, but you honestly need to experience it for yourself. Loved Sunshine Florist Resia is AMAZING!!!! She is so patient and will sit and help you through the ideas that are in your head that you can't quite piece all together. I am designer myself so it meant alot to me that she was able to take my fragments of ideas and glue them together to create a masterpiece. I had a huge bridal party (16 girls and 6 flower girls) and she was able to make all of our bouquets look beautiful. She is wonderful and I am soooo glad that I found her.\r more

NEVER DELIVERED CUPCAKES...NEVER DELIVERED CUSTOMER SERVICE.A Gainesville Florist the day came and went and the flowers were never delivered. I called them that evening and left a voicemail message that expressed my dissatisfaction, but I did ask that they call me back because they had taken my credit card information and I wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to be charged for anything at a later date. I also felt I deserved an explanation. They didn't call me back on Tuesday and that evening I called and left another voicemail message. I finally got in touch with someone on Thursday and they gave me attitude. They stated the girl that took the order wrote Tuesday instead of today and that is why they were not delivered on Monday. They also said that they didn't call me back because they didn't charge my credit card and they didn't think I needed an explanation as to why the flowers were not delivered. They never once said ""I'm sorry."" BEWARE of this A Gainesville florist They are bad news! They also call themselves ""Baby Cakes"" more

Sunshine Florist was wonderful! They completely understood my vision and did exactly what I had envisioned. I overheard people saying that the centerpieces and flowers were “so Cheryl”. Resia talked with me, looked at my stuff I planned to use and came up with a beautiful assortment that matched my wildflower garden with peacock colors and flowers perfectly. The way she decorated the gazebo we were married under was beautiful. She added so many little details. I asked for an assortment of different centerpieces that still all flowed together and she did it perfectly. Some tables had tall vases with curly willow branches and hanging candles, some had birdcages with flowers and candles; some had candlesticks with teacups and saucers with flowers. It was all so beautiful. Resia was friendly, helpful, creative and very reliable. I highly recommend Sunshine Florist. thhe are amazing! more

I have given up on FTD and other means of getting my flowers places as I hate when I pay for full priced flowers at my end from my favorite local flower shop . . and they get delivered at the other end by some place called ""Cut rate flowers"" or ""Discount flowers"". No matter how nice the flowers are . . .they make me look cheap.\r \r So when I needed to send flowers to a relative who was in an gainesville hospital- I put Yelp to the test and found ""The Sunshine Florist"" . . .and enchanted I was from the moment they answered the phone.\r \r The woman on the phone was very accommodating. When I said I needed a certain kind of flower she didn't have- she said could have it by the next day and that she would make me a lovely arrangement. She even ended up giving me a discount on the whole thing making me feel like a valued customer which is oftentimes hard over the phone.\r \r And the reaction from my relative when the flowers were delivered was worth any price! The flowers were beautiful and really made her day. And the arrangement was absolutely artful!\r \r This is probably not the cheapest place to get flowers , but if you want high quality flowers, arranged by a staff who is personable and accommodating, you have found your new florist.\r \r And Sunshine Florist goes in my book of florists that I am now happy to call on to represent me when I need to send something special that I am proud to have my name on!\r \r \r more
