It's really not that bad! 3/18/2012

I think the previous reviews are a tad dramatic. Sure, it's not the best place I've ever called home but it's certainly not terrible. It's cheap, fairly well maintained, and I've never had issues with the management. I have lived here for two years and have always managed to pay my rent on time so I'm confused as to why the previous reviewers have had such a difficult go at this simple task. I would prefer 24 hour laundry access but 9am-10pm is reasonable. I agree that a drop box for rent would be ideal, however, I disagree about having issues with management availability. more

A DUMP 1/25/2009

This place is a dump! The washers and dryers do not work properly and if you are lucky people wont open your dryer or throw your wet clothes on the table. That is if you are even lucky enough to wash your clothes. People just love to leave their clothes in the washer or dryer all day long. The people in the complex are not friendly and do not exchange words with you. The units are reasonably priced the security deposit is way more than the rent not including pet deposit. Apartments are not too badly sized. But the apartments do not have a garbage disposal. Some units do not have screens on the windows. Not all of the windows in the units lock which is a safety hazaard. You tend to see mold on the window sills of the units from the outside. Management is not very responsive but the maintenance is very good. If you move in here make sure to get everything in writing. Make sure that you can get your rent to them with in the first 5 days of the month and before 5 pm. If you don't get your rent in after the 5th day. Landlords will only give you 3 days or you get evicted. The office is closed on the weekend. Good luck if you are trying to work a 9-5 job and pay your rent. The office hours are rediculous since most complexs are open Saturday. My recommendation is STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY. Unless you want a cheap apartment and don't mind putting up with the issues. One last thing. No guest parking, guests of residents are asked to park on the side of the street not in the parking lot. Pros: close to sehome village, bus stop, and college Cons: Management, Parking, Cleansliness of apartments, MOLD more

terrible... 1/29/2008

I lived here with a roommate. We both had the same problem. The managers were never around when you needed them. My roommate and I often would hold bets to see how long it would take us to be able to pay the rent. They were either never home or never answered their door. We always had to go to a laundry mat as the laundry rooms were constantly locked and never opened up on time. Very inconvenient to say the least. The parking was ridiculous. They don't hold the same rules for themselves as they hold for everybody else. Just because they are ""managers"" doesn't make them God. I'll never live there again. more

Inexpensive, but remarkably annoying 1/6/2008

One year living here was more than enough. You would think it's convenient to have the people you pay rent to live at the same building as you, but for some insane reason, they don't have a drop box and they MAKE you come in during their operating hours to pay them in person (monday - friday, 9am - 5pm, Sat, 9am -12pm). Even that would be ok, but they're frequently unavailable during those hours without apology, and as a result you have to schedule time and hope to get lucky and find them...and forget about them ever answering their door when they're home outside of their listed hours. Pros: Inexpensive, walk-in closet in an otherwise tiny apartment, convenient to sehome plaza Cons: Moronic management, Laundry facilities often kept locked past 11am on weekends, terrible overall more

Poor place to live 12/3/2007

I lived at the Suncourt Apartments and moved out last year. It's very inconvenient to live at. First of all, the managers never answer their phone if there is a problem. I've been locked out numerous times and instead of opening up my apartment for me, they refused to answer their door because it was after hours. So I had to crash at a friend's house or go through the window. When they left out of town, they never assigned anybody in charge so if there was a problem, there was nobody to turn to. As far as I know the owner doesn't even care about the place as I never met him or even knew his name the whole time I lived there. I could never do my laundry because the laundry room was NEVER opened up before 11am Mon-Fri and on the weekends? No chance. They are nice, but don't seem to enjoy their job as they weren't very good at it. If you didn't pay your rent on time, they would make you pay a late fee, but time and time again I ran across the problem where I could never get anybody to answer the door in order to accept the check. And since there wasn't anybody else assigned in charge that I ever knew of, I had to put my life on hold in order to wait for somebody to come home or open the door. I had a full time job and I was a part time student. I didn't need that kind of stress all the time, consequently I moved out. It may be cheaper than anywhere else in town and now you know why. I'd rather pay more money if it means better service. Pros: Good location by a high school, college, gas station, grocery stores and fast food Cons: laundry facility never opened on time, managers never available for anything more
