I have taken my laptop to 3 different computer shops and I was about to give up on my computer and buy a new one. My computer was a gift and was sentimental to me so I gave it another attempt to get it fixed and called these guys. They did an onsite diagnostics and found exactly what was wrong the first time. The other computer repair places replaced so many different things and charged me so much without fixing the system. It was nice to find someone who found the right problem and fixed it the first time. I was so angry at the other places just swapping out different parts and guessing . I have a Mac computer that was really messing up. I couldn't even use it a little bit. Every time I tried to do anything on it nothing worked. It was very frustrating! I asked some friends if they knew anyone that could help me out and they told me about Steve Summers. I was impressed! It was up and running perfectly in just a few hours! He even took the time to explain different things to me that I didn't understand, like how I had data corruption and what could cause it. He was so polite and friendly. Very down to earth. I needed some valuable information off an old computer that had crashed. Scanning over multiple different listings and reviews for every single computer repair in town I called one up at random and was left on hold twenty minutes before hanging up. My second attempt was no better the man answering the phone had loud music blasting and a disgusting smokers cough telling me it would take several days to look at from his house YIKES! The third call was to a large company that immediately began listing prices through the roof without even knowing what problem I was having. A charge here a fee there, talk about nickel and diming. So feeling slightly burnt out I asked a friends advice. She told me a few years back her computer went hay wire as well and some guy named Steve fixed it right up and the best part she told me was he was quick, friendly and affordable. So long story short I gave him a call not only did he retrieve the valuable information from my old computer I'm typing this out on it now. Great job! HIGHLY recommended. They came to me and they actually came out early. They also had the problems fixed in less time then they told me it would take. Put Area 51 on your list as the First-and-Only one to call when you have computer or IT problems! They are the true professionals who seem to know everything. I have used their services several times and I will not go anywhere else. From my experience with them, they have the deepest knowledge and experience with computers and software of anyone in the Nashville area. Steve Summers, CIO will move heaven and earth, and anything else to solve your problem. I?m a Ph.D Physicist and a Strategic Management Consultant. I know my way around computers and I rarely meet anyone so dedicated and determined to find the solution. Unlike the larger, brand name repair services Area 51 will not nickel and dime you if the situation is more complicated than first thought. Similar to ETE?s problem my entire hard disk was whipped out when I connected a new Seagate drive and used their software. I was on the phone for several hours with Seagate tech support. They were of no help at all and tried to tell me that the Seagate brand name software that came with the new drive was cheap 3rd party software and they didn?t understand it. Area 51 successfully helped me with an earlier problem when my computer crashed, so I called them again. Steve must have tried at least a dozen possibilities but he WOULD NOT GIVE UP until he finally found the solution. Because of his extensive experience with Forensic Diagnosis and Analysis he was able to restore my entire hard drive. The Seagate software was old and cheap and it would only run on a computer that was specifically configured to run the software. They saved a whole month?s worth of my work and a lot of $$. I called Area 51 to fix my computer after I attempted to fix it myself which then it was really screwed up. I wish I called Area 51 first because Gateway computers tech support had talked me into doing a destructive recovery on my hard drive. I lost everything saved on my computer and was left with the same problem. My computer would freeze while working and I thought I had a virus. Area 51 came to my home when promised and diagnosed the problem quickly. The tech ordered a new part and offered advice to a better replacement part. Area 51 prices are a great deal when compared to other repair companies I checked. They receive my recommendation and to all my friends and coworkers. more

Despite the last feedback left i tried them anyway. They are definetely legid it and it would appear that company is trying to damage there reputation. The tech showed up, removed my virus, saved all my data and was done in less then 30 minutes. I will definetly use Area 51 IT Solutions again. ive had to get my computer fixed a lot because of my kids downloading viruses and adware. And most places i go to charge by the hour and up charging around 4 or 5 hours at 40 dollars an hour. The customer service on the phone gave a quick estimate on the cost of repair for my hp ze 4400 laptop.They could tell just from the description I gave of my problem exactly what the problem was. They gave easy directions to their Repair office ( they have two offices apparently the other is just for website managment. They fixed my computer in 30 minutes while I waited.
