Sturm Heating charged me twice, and didn't fix my problem 2/21/2010

I had called Sturm Heating and Air Conditioning to look at my furnace which had stopped working during the night. They couldn't find anything wrong with it, cleaned a part and charged me $120. The next morning, it had stopped working again, so we called back. Another repairman came and replaced a part, and charged us another $170! He claimed it was a valid charge and we had no recourse. And the next day the heater had stopped working again! I managed to put a stop on the second check. I managed to get them to stop the second charge, but not the first, after days of getting hassled by them. Needles to say I don't recommend them. They charge too much for a service call, and don't rectify the situation when its their own fault. more

Check around 7/31/2009

Our AC unit wasn't working properly and so we called Sturm. They seemed to be the cheapest around,or so we thought. They came out and looked at the unit and said they couldn't find anything wrong. We paid the 69.00 plus tax service call and thought that should be it. That same night the whole thing stopped working. When we called them back to get a price on the part it seemed very expensive so we called around. They were changing 2 times what everyone else in town was charging. In my opinion go with a different company from the start. In the end you'll save money and get better service. Cons: Over priced more
