Great place for kids, we had all of the grandchildren in our session with my parents. The photographer was able to wrangle all of the kids, get good looks out of them, and for the first time, we have a family portrait of all the grandkids with my folks. I would have paid anything for that! more

Great Studio! Photographers are fast, fun and friendly, they can work miracles with a crazy toddler! I love, love, love my daughter's photos! They prices are pretty comparable to other studios, but you get SO much more, Free retouching! Free picture every month, plus Mondays 1/2 price! Which makes your membership come in handy--only $10 bucks per 8x10 sheet! We came to them through groupon, and I fell in love with my photos I ended up spending a ton more than I originally wanted to, but you can't fault them for being good. My only complaint is that I wish they were back in the mall, they moved to a seperate facility across the parking lot from the mall, and although it is more private, which we like, it is just not as convienent, but I heard they were going to be building a newer one in the mall so we cannot wait for that. I am going to do a location session next, btw they don't charge fees for that either... great studio. HIGHLY recommend! more

I love this studio! The staff are friendly and fun to work with, everyone is super nice! I have been to other studios who do not take the time to work with your kids like they do here. I don't think they are pricey at all, they will work with you to build a package for your budget, admittedly they don't have the pre set packages most of us are used to, but they will make one that is best suited to your budget and needs. I found it great because I was not stuck with a bunch of wallets I didn't want, I was able to get everything I loved at a reasonable price. They have super good specials, their membership is fantastic, FREE photo every month, and no session fees ever! I love it! I read some of the othe reviews and I have to say that everyone here is just great. I didn't have any problems at all. I am not sure why some people complained about the manager. She was so nice, and she greeted my family int he waiting area before our shoot, she was kept the kids smiling and excited, which was fantastic for impatient little ones. During our shoot, she came in and helped out with the little ones, you can tell she knows her stuff! I have never had such great happy photos of my kids, the whole experience was relaxed and fun. I would recommend them any time! more

My husband and I went in for a shoot and it was the end of the day, but the manager, Mary Castillo, was happy to let us do a sitting. We had fun and she suggested all kinds of creative poses. She gave us a great deal! Our pictures came out great and we have received lots of compliments on them. I would recommend this place any day! more

RUSHED session / bad quality /unprofessional - SCAMMED ! 12/26/2011

Buyer Beware ! Came here for a family session. It was our first time to try Studio One. While waiting, I told them that my sister's family is simultaneously having a photo session with Picture People, a few yds away and we wanted to try them out as well, One of the staff bad mouthed that studio saying that their prints are not good quality pics since they print them onsite compared with theirs (off site). When it came to our appointed session, the photographer hurried us through the different poses. She did not make sure if the positions look good altogether, she just clicks and clicks away. I had to suggest to her better positioning. I was not getting the professional feel that I should with the photographer. On the appointed day to pick up our prints, we had a car mishap so we were running late (someone backed up to our parked car). Called the studio to let them know if it was alright to arrive late-checking for any penalties, we were told no problem. When we arrived, they told us they will be keeping our $20 deposit since we were ""late"" for our appt. I told them that I called them first if it was alright to resked to a later time since we were wrapping up with the car incident, however, the manager, Mary Castillo, who I spoke with, did not allow us any flexibility. She has reneged what on what we agreed earlier. She has very poor customer service. She is not flexible at all . Even doctors and dental offices give their new customers some flexibility. When I was waiting, I sat down in the computer area, I saw one of the staff editing customers' prints on the PC with ADOBE Photoshop. They merely erase the facial scars and retouch eyebags, making faces look like they were botoxed. They look horrible ! My fears were confirmed when I was handed the prints. WE all looked botoxed, even my childrens' faces. (I got many bad feedbacks about our pictures since I posted it to family and friends.) The picture quality was horrible. The staff especially Mary Castillo need to be retrained about practicing good customer service. We will definitely NOT be repeat customers in any STUDIO ONE! Mary Castillo has ""burned"" the good image of Studio One in my family. She has driven us away. I regret not having read the earlier reviews in this website before booking our appointment. >>> Totally will NOT recommend this studio at all. We do our formal famiy pictorial every year and try out different studios. This one is a HUGE thumbs down ! more

Hot, Dirty, Miserable Experience and Have To Go Back 10/4/2010

We did not get to complete our first sitting because the experience was so bad. The room, floor and backdrop was dirty, and it was hot. The outer room had very worn carpet. It was as if there was no pride in the establishment itself or the work done there. The photographer did not seem to be very well prepared, was not sincerely kid friendly and just seemed to be going through the motions. Our child was very unhappy, crying, did NOT have a good experience at all. When I first mentioned we should leave, that it was not working, the photographer wanted to know if I wanted to see some of the great shots they had of other kids. Like this meant ANYTHING to me all all at this time. I finally had to insist we leave. My child was crying, very unhappy and I was exhausted from trying to help. There was no assistant to help the photographer. Props were very crappy looking. No imagination was being used. We are going back for a redo because they have our deposit. Please pray for us, we need it! : ) more

Horrible Experience!!!! 12/27/2006

I just want to let everyone know that our experience at this studio was absolutely horrible. The photographer wasn't kid friendly at all. She had no patience, so many of the pictures were taken while we were in the process of getting in to place. She also had a very poor attitude. In my opinion if you are going to be a photographer you need to be as kid friendly as possible, due to the fact that children are going to be about 75% of your buisness. After we did the photo shoot we sat down to go through the pictures and for every picture that we would say we don't want her attitude would just get worse. Not to mention when I went in to pick up the pictures she was there and the entire time she was giving me nasty looks. I called and spoke with the manager about this and she had nothing to say and didn't try to compensate us in any way other than saying ""You can come back in and do another shoot"" by this point we had already spent $400 and really didn't feel like going back in and getting the same treatment that we received!!! The pictures that did turn out were great!! Our overall all experience was bad and I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! Absolutely no customer service from her at all!!! Pros: The pictures that did come out were great! Cons: Customer Service didn't exsist with her!! more
