I recently went to Studio Gaven and had an appointment with Eric.He is amazing!!!Our consulation was exact and he gave me exactly what i wanted and then some...Eric is trying to build up a new clientele and his hours our to my convience...he works late most nights and is not that expensive than the other stylists.i will be back to see him... I had been to Studio Gavin in their old location about a year ago, and it was pretty good, but now they are really something special. I had been going to another place, and my stylist kept doing the same thing to me every time, no matter what I said. So I thought I'd give Gavin's another shot. The front desk people were pretty nice, and they gave me wine, which is always a good thing. My stylist, Jess, talked a little over my head about color, but he asked a lot of questions about what I liked and didnt like, and I really think he listened to me. We had some laughs, the color came out great, and my haircut is really awesome. Jess also said that everyone there is highly trained and professional, so that's good to know. I absolutely recommend this salon. I have been to several of the stylists and they are all wonderful. I have used Dusty, Jess, Leslie and Jona. I have been extremely please with the work they do. Everyone is so friendly and make you feel like you are the only patron in the building. Great atmosphere, products and staff. I can't wait to experience all the new services offered. The new Studio Gaven is "OVER-THE-TOP!!!! Innovative, stylish ,professional, friendly! And now nail services by the top rated nail pro in middle Tennessee! They have also added skin and massage services to their menu...I can't wait to try these! They have the BEST hair products, and a coffee bar! It has a New York Salon feel to it, Gaven is so friendly, always welcoming the clients! I love this place and tell everyone about it! You have GOT to try it...you will love it too! I held out for a long time only getting my haircut in NJ but I finally gave in and got a haircut at Studio Gaven. I was happy with the haircut and found the place to be very up to date. The people were friendly and the salon was really nice. The prices are a little pricy in my opinion especially for TN but it was worth it since I was really nervous finding someone new. more

Studio Gaven is the best! I started going there a year ago!! Everytime I go the experience is better and better!! I highly recommend this place to everyone! I've been going to this salon for a trim every few months, but last week I decided to get my hair cut. I brought in a picture and proceeded. My haircut looked nothing like the picture (shoulder length bob) and instead looked like the "Rachel" of the mid 90's. I thought I would die, she was supposed to cut off about 6-8 inches and instead I lost about 12. I had to go elsewhere to get it fixed and the other stylist was horrified. My hair is way too short but at least now I have a style, when they were fixing my hair the stylist told me it was 1.5 inches shorter on one side than the other (when was the last time an assymetrical haircut was in style). Needless to say I will never go back, even though I must admit the rest of the staff was wonderful! Pros: Front desk, Atmospere Cons: Lack of skill more

It took me years to find a place that I liked well enough to call mine when it came to a hair studio once I moved to Tennessee. I finally found it in Studio Gaven. They are always super attentive to their customers, the atmosphere is great, the products trendy. I can't think of any down sides. Great all around. I won't let anyone but Leslie touch my hair, she does such a wonderful job cutting and coloring it. I have also started getting my eyebrows waxed here as well. Don't miss out on the massages either, they are wonderful!! Pros: Great location, the best hair stylist I've ever had. Cons: A little pricey but sooo worth it. more

Studio Gaven has a cool, calm, and trendy atmosphere. The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. My stylist gave me a funky color that really suits me. The stylists at Studio Gaven are definitely the best trained and educated that I think I have seen in this area. more

My first experience at Studio Gaven is one that I will never forget!! I was greeted by a very friendly front desk staff. They were prompt in gettting me a cold beverage and alerting the stylist I was seeing that I was there. My stylist was a very attractive and stylish gentleman named Derrick. He approached me with a huge smile and firm handshake. My consultation was brief and exact. Derrick was professional and quick with his talent. The result of my haircut and color was very pleasing and fabulous! Exactly what I wanted!! I am now a frequent client of Derricks and the salon. Katie does a great job on my eyebrows and gives the best shampoos I have ever had!! I recommend this salon to everyone!! more

Studio Gaven is by far the best hair salon I've found. Roger is an extremely talented stylist and colorist who has left me feeling great every time I get my hair cut and colored. I would highly recommend this salon, as well as Roger, to anyone looking for a quality salon in the Nashville area. more
