Almost 18,000 Dollars for my Gold Bar 6/10/2012

With the economy in recovery we wanted to keep our 10 ounce gold bars for as long as possible. My husband went to a bunch of pawn shops and some gold buying businesses and they wanted to play like it wasn't so desirable since it was 10 ounces. So we just quit looking for a buyer. Then we saw a news broadcast about gold buying businesses in San Antonio and realized this is very common. But also they said Stone Oak Jewelers was on the level so he took one of the bars there and came back with a gigantic smile and almost 18,000 dollars... We are all set now and we didn't even have to sell the other bar. We could not be any happier with the service we received from Stone Oak Jewelers. more

WIN, WIN, WIN... 6/7/2012

Fine Store, we brought in an odd bag of gold and silver pieces. Mike was so Helpful, he separated everything into groups and then ran several tests on it and came back with a sell value. We decided to sell the silver but we did something I wasn't expecting. Mike actually melted the gold into a little bar and then certified it to it's purity in writing. It's cost us 25.00 but now we have a freak'en bar of gold. This was a total WIN WIN WIN. ( Nancy )... more

I Love Stone Oak Jewelers... 5/16/2012

I love my engagement ring from Stone Oak Jewelers. After what seemed like months of looking through the magazines and visiting different jewelry stores, my fiancee and I decided on a custom ring designed by Dan at Stone Oak Jewelers. I had my heart set on an emerald cut diamond and I couldn't find a setting that worked with it. Every other store told me we should decide on a diamond first but I was more concerned how the setting would look on my finger. I wanted a slightly wider ring with small diamonds going around the main diamond. Dan came up with a great design but it was still hard for me to imagine how it would look on my finger. The team at Stone Oak assured us we could follow every step of the design process. I was even able to try on the wax model to make sure I liked it before everything was finalized. Long story short I am engaged and I love my ring !!... more

STONE OAK JEWELERS REALLY IS ONE OF THE BEST JEWELERS IN SAN ANTONIO. THEIR SERVICE IS IMPECCABLE AND THEIR PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE IS EXTENSIVE. WE FOUND ALMOST THE EXACT SAME RING AS A MALL STORE HAD FOR THOUSANDS LESS AT STONE OAK AND SINCE THEN HAVE NEVER GONE ANYWHERE ELSE. more

Great staff and selection My boyfriend and I were looking for estate wedding/engagement rings and Stone Oak Jewelers by far has the best selection of anyplace in the SA Area. The staff is very knowledgeable and let us put a ring on hold for 3 days while we thought about it. We continued to look, but at the end of the day I kept saying that none of the rings were as perfect as at Stone Oak. We ended up calling Dan and purchasing the one of a kind rings and we couldn't be happier. SOJ is definitely the place if you want to find a wedding/engagement ring that is one of a kind that you won't find anywhere else. We love SOJ and do suggest them to anyone! more

I'm a happy camper... 4/18/2012

I shopped around and chose Stone Oak Jewelers to buy by fiances engagement ring. I went to the mall stores and they are nice but they can't compete with Stone Oak Jewelers. That's just the way it is. So for anyone looking I suggest you do yourself a favor and head over to see Dan at Stone Oak and he'll make sure you leave a happy camper. more

Excellent 4/16/2012

This store was Excellent just like the reviews said it would be. We did finally select and purchase a beautiful diamond engagement ring with Dans help. Overall I found the store to be clean, well stocked and very helpful. We are a little on the "conservative" side, so to sell to us they had to really earn our business and we're happy they did. more

I've been struggling for money so I went around my house and found every piece of jewelry I could. I didn't expect much. I went to every store seeing who would pay the most. I was offered $150 at the most.. Dan gave me nearly $1500 and one of the pawn shops even refereed me to Stone Oak Jewelers. I now tell everyone to go there! thank you so much Dan ! more

First Class Gold Buyer. I stopped at several places before finally getting the money I knew I was due for my heavy gold chain. I actually got back more than i paid for it about 8 years ago. I couldn't be more happy and I would recommend Stone Oak Jewelers to all my friends and family. more

Stone Oak Jewelers really Surprised Me !!! 1/24/2012

What an exciting experience I had at Stone Oak Jewelers when I went there with my Mom to look at some jewelry and to my surprise they had been making a custom ring for me. They really tricked me because we were looking at one set of rings, then we were talking about how they make custom rings with the AutoCad and the resin prototype and the final product. That's when they popped out my ring. My Mom really had a good time with me and I love my ring more than anything else I own because I know what it took to create it and it's from my Mom. I can't say enough wonderful things about the people at Stone Oak Jewelers. They really were Awesome. more

What a Super place Stone Oak Jewelers is, we went there to sell one ring and ended up doing that an then buying another ring that was more to my liking. Well actually we sold a ring I didn't like, then bought a ring I still can't believe is mine, and I still got cold hard cash in my pocket. Holy cow I'm blown away, and I actually feel like I stole it or something, I mean I can't believe it, this diamond solitaire is so big and firey I just can't believe it. Thanks Dan... more

Mike over at Stone Oak Jewelers went over and above to help me create to perfect set of wedding bands from scratch. We wanted extra wide wedding bands with a unique texture that emulated camouflage. We love them and they really show our character. We've been back since then but nothing will ever match the excellent product we got when we hired Stone Oak Jewelers to create our wedding bands. more

Dan is OK in my Book. I've gone round and round with him over the years wiggling and haggling my way to some really great deals. Stone Oak Jewelers always has the most unique items that i sometimes have to trade in an old piece for something new. But that's what makes Dan's store so special, plus the staff are really fun to talk to. I can really loose the time in there but I never regret it. I have a very special jewelry collection and over the years allot of it has come from Stone Oak Jewelers. more
